As the world's leading tax automation platform, we empower companies to expand internationally without the burden of intricate compliance requirements. In the last decade, the digital economy has experienced exponential growth, transforming the landscape of sales tax from a minor concern to a critical operational challenge. Businesses now face the imperative to monitor tax exposure, accurately calculate rates, and diligently file returns across numerous jurisdictions, including over 20 US states and a multitude of countries worldwide. This presents a significant bottleneck for companies striving for global reach and seamless customer transactions.
- • Anrok’s innovative, unified platform eradicates this complexity. By seamlessly integrating with billing and payment systems, we automate the entire lifecycle of tax management, from initial monitoring and precise calculation to end-to-end filing. Our solution is engineered to expertly navigate the ever-shifting labyrinth of tax laws at municipal, state, and federal levels, liberating companies to concentrate on their core business objectives and strategic growth, rather than getting bogged down in compliance minutiae. Our esteemed clientele includes a significant portion of the most innovative companies, such as 40% of Forbes Top 50 AI companies and 20% of Forbes Top 100 Cloud companies, alongside industry leaders like Notion, Anthropic, and Cursor. We are dedicated to making compliant digital commerce an accessible reality for businesses of all sizes, fortified by over $100 million in funding from premier investors including Spark Capital, Sequoia, Index, and Khosla Ventures.

- • A significant aspect of your role will involve the strategic training and development of our dedicated Tax Operations team. You will equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively oversee VAT and GST compliance operations across the diverse APAC markets. This includes ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all filings for both Anrok and our extensive customer base, maintaining the highest standards of compliance and operational efficiency. Your expertise will be instrumental in building a robust and capable tax operations function that can scale with Anrok's growth.
- • Furthermore, you will engage in close collaboration with our Product and Engineering teams. This partnership is crucial for shaping the future of our tax automation platform, particularly in how we address and resolve unique tax challenges specific to the APAC region. You will provide invaluable insights into e-invoicing mandates, the intricacies of fiscal representation requirements, and the specific filing obligations mandated by individual countries within the region. Your input will directly influence the development of features and functionalities that enhance our platform's capabilities and ensure its continued relevance and effectiveness in a dynamic regulatory environment.
- • You will also play a key role in supporting customer implementations, offering expert guidance and troubleshooting complex issues that arise during the onboarding process. This includes managing and resolving escalations related to APAC global tax compliance, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for our clients. Your ability to translate complex tax regulations into practical, actionable advice will be essential in building and maintaining strong customer relationships and reinforcing Anrok's reputation for exceptional service and expertise.
- • Proactively staying ahead of the curve is paramount. You will be responsible for continuously monitoring and analyzing regulatory changes across the APAC region, anticipating shifts in tax laws and compliance requirements.
