- • As a Venture Capital Coach at Leland Technologies Inc., you will play a pivotal role in democratizing access to elite career guidance by mentoring aspiring professionals seeking to break into the competitive venture capital industry. Your expertise will directly empower students and early-career candidates to navigate complex recruiting processes, build compelling narratives, and gain the confidence needed to succeed in one of finance’s most selective fields.
- • Day to day, you will conduct one-on-one virtual coaching sessions focused on venture capital career preparation, including resume and cover letter reviews tailored to VC firm expectations, behavioral and technical interview practice, and guidance on networking strategies within the venture ecosystem. You will provide personalized feedback on deal-sourcing ideas, investment theses, and fund modeling exercises, drawing from your real-world experience evaluating candidates at top-tier firms. You will also curate and recommend relevant learning resources, help mentees craft authentic personal brands, and adapt your coaching style to diverse backgrounds and career stages.
- • You will operate as an independent contractor with full autonomy over your schedule, session frequency, and pricing, allowing you to balance this role with existing professional commitments while building your own thought leadership in the VC education space.
