📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Bastion’s core stablecoin issuance, custody, and movement products, translating enterprise needs into a scalable, compliant, and revenue-generating platform that will move billions of dollars by 2026.
• Partner daily with the future Head of Product, Engineering, Design, Compliance, and GTM to define product vision, prioritize features, and ship high-impact releases that accelerate customer adoption and reduce regulatory risk.
• Within your first 7 days, conduct a rapid orientation: map our “Issue-Hold-Move” architecture, meet every key stakeholder, and surface the top three delivery risks across issuance, on/off-ramps, and external surfaces—then publish a one-page action plan with themes, owners, and next decisions.
• By day 15, lock 30-day priorities and success signals for Issuance and Hold-Move reliability, join live customer calls with GTM, translate insights into crisp problem statements, and stand up lightweight product cadences (weekly portfolio review, cross-functional intake, risk register).
• By day 30, ship at least one customer-visible milestone on an external surface or API, de-risk readiness through test plans, observability requirements, and runbooks co-authored with Engineering, and publish a quarter-length roadmap that links every theme to measurable outcomes and quarterly checkpoints.
• By day 90, demonstrate durable, measurable wins—reliability and compliance baked in—while institutionalizing product principles, analytics, and quality bars that guide prioritization as the team scales.
• Translate complex regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC/AML, OFAC, state money-transmitter rules) into clear product specs and user journeys that delight enterprise clients and satisfy auditors.
• Build and maintain a living product backlog, write detailed PRDs, define acceptance criteria, and drive sprint planning to ensure Engineering can deliver on aggressive timelines without accruing technical debt.
• Instrument every feature with the right metrics—latency, settlement time, reserve yield, error rates, compliance pass-through—then iterate rapidly based on data and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with Compliance to design configurable policy engines that let financial institutions tailor risk thresholds without code changes, enabling faster go-lives and higher win rates.
• Champion a culture of experimentation: run A/B tests on fee models, UX flows, and API designs; socialize learnings across the company; and embed a test-and-learn mindset in all new hires.
• Serve as the voice of the customer in roadmap discussions, balancing short-term revenue opportunities against long-term platform scalability and regulatory durability.
• Contribute to hiring and onboarding of additional Product Managers and Analysts in 2025, codifying playbooks, templates, and rituals that allow the team to 10× output without 10× headcount.
• Travel to New York City as needed to meet enterprise prospects, regulators, and banking partners, turning whiteboard sketches into signed contracts and live integrations.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience shipping B2B SaaS, fintech, or infrastructure APIs at scale, ideally with exposure to payments, stablecoins, or digital assets.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex regulatory and compliance constraints into simple, elegant product experiences that enterprise customers love.
• Proven track record of owning a product area end-to-end—from discovery through launch, iteration, and sunset—and delivering measurable business impact under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to craft concise PRDs, present to C-suite buyers, and negotiate priorities with Engineering and Compliance alike.
• Nice-to-have: direct experience with stablecoins, money transmission regulation, or custody solutions; technical fluency in distributed systems, blockchain protocols, or cloud-native architectures.
