- • Lead and manage client engagements on a lean, cross-functional team, ensuring work streams are delivered on timeline and with high-quality standards
- • Perform quality control of client deliverables and lead the presentation of findings to key stakeholders
- • Develop detailed financial and analytical models at varying levels of granularity to drive operational and transactional insights
- • Conduct financial and business due diligence to support investment and growth decisions for private equity portfolio companies
- • Analyze complex data sets and unstructured information sources to extract actionable business insights
- • Construct compelling reports and presentations that enhance stakeholders’ understanding of financial trends and performance drivers
- • Travel extensively across Europe to work directly with clients in various jurisdictions
- • Participate in and lead consultant teach-ins, training exercises, and knowledge-sharing sessions
- • Contribute to the performance review process for engagement teams and mentor junior consultants
- • Collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds including Private Equity, Investment Banking, FP&A, Big 4, and Financial Controllers
- • Apply proprietary engagement models to implement tools and processes that accelerate value creation in PE-backed environments
- • Work at the pace and rigor required in a private equity context, balancing hands-on execution with team leadership
- • Operate independently with minimal oversight while maintaining extreme attention to detail and high integrity
- • Function effectively in a fluid, flat organizational structure with an entrepreneurial mindset
- • Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively, both orally and in writing, to senior clients and internal teams
- • Manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously while maintaining focus on individual deliverables
- • Support the growth of Accordion’s European footprint through proactive client engagement and team development
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or economics; MBA preferred
- • 6+ years of experience at a top-tier private equity firm, investment bank, or consulting firm
- • Strong transactional finance experience and understanding of operational finance
- • Power user of Tableau
- • Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities
- • SQL and Power BI highly desirable
