- • Vice President, Clinical Development leads clinical development strategy for Precision Medicine Group’s portfolio of drugs, biologics, and cell and gene therapies focused on autoimmune, rare, and orphan diseases.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing clinical protocols, case report forms, training materials, and regulatory documents such as INDs and NDAs; analyzing laboratory data, adverse events, and clinical trial reports; driving feasibility discussions; and providing strategic consulting to clients integrating medical, regulatory, biostatistical, and translational insights.
- • The role reports to the Chief Medical Officer and collaborates across Precision for Medicine and PFM operations to support business development, client engagement, and medical strategy globally.
- • The incumbent will deepen expertise in FDA and EU regulatory frameworks, lead cross-functional teams, mentor project teams through training modules, and ensure deliverables meet the highest standards of scientific, ethical, and medical integrity while accelerating timelines for drug development.
🎯 Requirements
- • MD, MBBS, or equivalent medical degree with completion of fellowship in Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Hematology-Oncology or related field; board certification preferred.
- • Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience in clinical research industry with substantial knowledge in operations, medical monitoring, biostatistics, regulatory, preclinical, or translational pharmacology.
- • Demonstrated experience in direct interactions with US and/or EU Regulatory Authorities, including recent health authority experience (e.g., ex-FDA medical reviewers).
- • Proven ability to author, review, and interpret clinical trial protocols, statistical analysis plans, INDs, NDAs, PSURs, DSURs, IBs, ICFs, and regulatory briefing documents.
- • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and/or internationally for client meetings, health authority engagements, and thought leadership conferences.
