- • Lead the global, 24x7 Cyber Threat Center (CTC) as a senior executive within Dun & Bradstreet’s Global Security & Risk team, overseeing four integrated pillars: Security Operations & Incident Response (SOC/IR), Detection Engineering & Automation, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability & Exposure Management.
- • Define and execute the strategic vision for the CTC to proactively defend the enterprise against evolving cyber threats, ensuring alignment with organizational risk appetite and business objectives.
- • Establish and track outcome-based performance metrics including Mean Time to Detect (MTTD), Mean Time to Respond (MTTR), exposure reduction rates, and detection coverage to measure and improve cybersecurity effectiveness.
- • Drive automation and engineering rigor across all CTC functions to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual toil, and scale threat detection and response capabilities globally.
- • Partner cross-functionally with Technology, Risk, Legal, and business units to embed security into enterprise-wide initiatives and ensure coordinated incident response and risk mitigation.
- • Oversee the development and maintenance of threat intelligence programs that inform defensive strategies, prioritize vulnerabilities, and anticipate adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- • Manage and mentor a global team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in threat detection and response.
- • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards through robust security controls, audit readiness, and documentation of security processes and procedures.
- • Lead incident response efforts during critical security events, coordinating cross-team actions to contain, investigate, and remediate threats with minimal business disruption.
- • Advocate for investment in cybersecurity tools, talent, and capabilities by presenting business-aligned justifications and ROI metrics to executive leadership.
- • Evaluate emerging threats and technologies to continuously evolve the CTC’s defensive posture and maintain a competitive advantage against sophisticated adversaries.
- • Represent Dun & Bradstreet’s cybersecurity posture internally and externally, including in stakeholder briefings, industry forums, and regulatory interactions as needed.
- • Ensure seamless integration between the CTC and other security functions including identity management, cloud security, and data protection to create a unified defense architecture.
- • Maintain awareness of global threat landscapes and adapt CTC strategies to address region-specific risks and compliance requirements across international operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience leading a global, 24x7 Cyber Threat Center or equivalent security operations function
- • Demonstrated success in managing SOC/IR, Detection Engineering, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Management programs
- • Strong track record of establishing and improving key cybersecurity metrics such as MTTD and MTTR
- • Experience partnering with Legal, Risk, Technology, and business units to align security initiatives with enterprise goals
