- • Lead end-to-end delivery of modern data platforms for private equity clients, owning scope, schedule, budget, and measurable business outcomes.
- • Run agile delivery teams using Scrum/Kanban frameworks, including backlog hygiene, velocity forecasting, release management, and CI/CD for data workflows.
- • Architect and enforce medallion (bronze/silver/gold) patterns, data contracts, governance controls, data lineage, and observability standards across client data platforms.
- • Orchestrate cloud environments on Snowflake and Azure, managing security, cost controls, and performance tuning for services including ADF/Fabric, Databricks, Synapse, ADLS, Key Vault, and Purview.
- • Serve as the primary executive client contact, leading steering committees, managing change requests, and driving stakeholder alignment and adoption of data solutions.
- • Own SOW scope, staffing, and margin; forecast and track project budgets while enforcing delivery standards tied to business KPIs such as SLA improvements and cost-per-query reductions.
- • Coach and mentor project managers and technical leads, codifying playbooks and templates for repeatable delivery across data engineering, analytics, and platform operations.
- • Contribute to proposals and pre-sales activities by translating client needs into technical solutions and value propositions.
- • Travel to client sites as required to support on-site delivery, stakeholder engagement, and project execution.
- • Deliver scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data platforms using Snowflake and Azure technologies, ensuring stable operating models and documented operational procedures.
- • Drive client satisfaction through measurable outcomes including improved time-to-insight, reduced data latency, and higher CSAT/NPS scores.
- • Ensure adherence to data quality rules, data modeling best practices, and compliance with governance frameworks across diverse sectors including Retail, CPG, Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, Technology, and Logistics.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of technology delivery experience leading data platform or analytics programs in consulting or professional services
- • Proven success managing $1M–$5M+ multi-workstream programs with distributed teams
- • Hands-on familiarity with Snowflake (warehouses, RBAC, performance/cost tuning) and Azure data services (ADF/Fabric, Databricks, Synapse, ADLS, networking & security)
- • Strong command of agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban), Jira/Azure DevOps, release planning, and CI/CD for data using Git-based workflows
- • Practical experience implementing medallion architectures, lakehouse patterns, data modeling, and data quality/observability
- • Stakeholder management experience at VP/C-suite level with crisp written and oral communication and executive reporting skills
