- • Lead the integration of data science and strategic decision-making to drive value creation for private equity clients and their portfolio companies across Retail, CPG, Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, Technology, and Logistics.
- • Transform complex business challenges into quantifiable opportunities by identifying high-impact questions, building analytical frameworks, and delivering actionable insights that shift how businesses operate and grow.
- • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, shaping major strategic decisions including market expansion, pricing strategy, resource allocation, and competitive positioning through data-driven recommendations.
- • Own end-to-end strategic initiatives from conception to execution, measuring business impact and iterating based on outcomes, with direct accountability for delivering measurable results.
- • Design and implement intelligent data and analytical solutions that streamline reporting, enhance business insights, and optimize operations across large, heterogeneous datasets including Sales, Operations, Marketing, Pricing, and Customer Strategies.
- • Travel to client sites as needed to lead AI assessments and strategy engagements, acting as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders.
- • Translate advanced quantitative analyses—spanning statistics, predictive modeling, optimization, and experimental design—into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical executives without oversimplifying the methodology.
- • Build and defend analytical models using Python, R, and SQL, selecting the appropriate level of sophistication based on business context—knowing when a simple calculation outperforms a complex model.
- • Collaborate with a global team of 1,600+ finance and technology experts to deliver cutting-edge, data-powered solutions rooted in domain expertise and technological innovation.
- • Establish and scale the analytical infrastructure required to evaluate strategic opportunities rigorously, ensuring reproducibility, scalability, and alignment with client business objectives.
- • Drive the adoption of data-driven culture within client organizations by building conviction around insights and enabling teams to act on recommendations with confidence.
- • Identify and pursue three major strategic opportunities in the first year that were previously unseen, leading at least one to full implementation with demonstrable business impact.
- • Maintain deep fluency in business finance, including P&Ls, unit economics, customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, and operational levers that drive growth and profitability.
- • Function as both an analyst and architect of strategic direction, balancing technical rigor with strategic vision to influence organizational behavior and decision-making at the highest levels.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in analytical roles with increasing strategic responsibility
- • Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and quantitative analysis
- • Demonstrated experience influencing business strategy through data
- • Track record of identifying and driving growth opportunities
- • Excellent communication skills with technical and executive audiences
- • Proficiency in modern data science tools and languages (Python, R, SQL)
