- • Own the national annuity sales P&L for TruStage and drive double-digit revenue growth by expanding distribution through broker-dealers (B-Ds) and Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). You will translate ambitious corporate goals into an executable go-to-market plan, balancing new business acquisition with deepening wallet-share in existing relationships.
- • Architect and continuously refine a multi-channel wholesaling strategy that blends high-touch field engagement, data-driven inside sales, and scalable digital outreach. You will decide where to place bets—territory design, coverage ratios, and product mix—while ensuring every dollar of travel and marketing spend is ROI-positive.
- • Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing national team of Divisional Sales Managers, External Wholesalers, and Internal Wholesalers. From recruiting and onboarding to coaching and succession planning, you will instill a culture of consultative selling, fiduciary mindset, and relentless customer focus that differentiates TruStage in a crowded marketplace.
- • Act as the "voice of the field" inside TruStage’s cross-functional leadership forums. You will translate frontline feedback into actionable insights for Product, IT, Operations, Strategy, and Marketing teams—prioritizing roadmap items, pricing adjustments, and sales-enablement tools that materially move the revenue needle.
- • Partner with external vendors, industry consultants, and fintech platforms to benchmark best practices, pilot innovative sales technologies, and implement process improvements that compress sales cycles and elevate advisor experience.
- • Design and deploy compelling sales collateral, presentation decks, competitive battlecards, and training curricula that empower wholesalers to articulate TruStage’s unique value proposition and navigate complex suitability conversations with confidence.
- • Establish rigorous KPIs and dashboards that track pipeline health, close rates, product penetration, and advisor satisfaction. You will conduct quarterly business reviews, identify under-performing territories, and deploy targeted interventions to ensure consistent quota attainment across the organization.
- • Represent TruStage at national conferences, home-office due-diligence meetings, and key industry forums. Your thought-leadership presence will strengthen brand credibility, open doors to new distribution partnerships, and position TruStage as the annuity provider of choice for growth-minded advisors.
- • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the sales organization and across all advisor relationships. You will embed inclusive practices into hiring, coaching, and customer engagement strategies, ensuring that every American—regardless of background—has access to a brighter financial future.
- • Travel 50–75 % across a large geographic territory to ride alongside wholesalers, participate in advisor events, and maintain a pulse on regional market dynamics. Your visible leadership in the field will reinforce corporate priorities and accelerate local market penetration.
