- • As Vice President of Growth at Skylight, Inc., you will report directly to the CEO and drive sustainable, high-impact growth by leveraging the company’s unique SBIR/STTR contract vehicles to secure direct Phase III federal awards without restrictions.
- • You will strategize, design, and build scalable growth models, lead cross-functional teams in business development, sales, capture management, and proposals, and integrate AI/automation to enhance efficiency in pipeline analytics and proposal creation.
- • Skylight is a digital consultancy transforming government services through design and technology, organized into Executive Office, Federal Health & Civilian, and Defense & Security units, with a mission to improve public outcomes for families, patients, and communities.
- • In this role, you will deepen federal partnerships, scale company capacity, mentor teams, and achieve measurable growth aligned with Skylight’s values, while gaining executive leadership experience in government contracting and innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Broad executive-level growth experience in business development, capture management, teaming agreements, proposal management, pricing models, and contract financials
- • Demonstrated success driving both new and organic growth in the federal government professional services sector
- • Deep understanding of federal procurement regulations, processes, and contract types, including ability to navigate complex government contracting environments
- • Ability to lead and coordinate growth initiatives across matrixed teams, establish accountability, and build trusted internal and external relationships
- • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, superb communication, and a passion for improving public outcomes through government services
- • Willingness and aptitude to adopt AI/automation tools in growth operations (no deep AI expertise required)
- • Ability to travel occasionally and work legally in the U.S. without sponsorship, with potential for security clearance
