Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Step into a 12-week, paid, full-time summer immersion at Cambria’s Eden Prairie headquarters where your passion for visual storytelling will shape how millions experience the Cambria brand. From day one you’ll be embedded in the in-house Creative & Marketing team, collaborating with copywriters, designers, photographers, and brand strategists to craft scroll-stopping video content for social, web, product launches, and national campaigns.
- • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple video projects: brainstorm concepts aligned to quarterly marketing OKRs, storyboard with designers, scout and light on-location shoots, capture interviews and product demos, then edit, color-grade, mix sound, and add motion graphics that meet platform specs and brand guidelines.
- • Produce a capstone project that solves a real business need—think a three-part TikTok series that boosts brand awareness among Gen-Z homeowners or a micro-documentary spotlighting Cambria’s sustainable quartz fabrication process. You’ll research audience insights, analyze performance data, and present strategic recommendations to senior leaders and peers in a final showcase.
- • Film and edit high-impact assets weekly: 15-second Reels, 30-second product explainers, behind-the-scenes factory tours, executive interviews, and event recaps. Maintain a consistent visual identity across all outputs while experimenting with new formats, trends, and AI-driven creation tools to keep Cambria ahead of the curve.
- • Partner daily with Cambria’s Sr. Photographer to cross-pollinate photo and video workflows—syncing lighting setups, sharing shot lists, and ensuring seamless integration of still and motion assets for omnichannel campaigns.
- • Master professional media management: ingest raw footage, tag metadata, build searchable folder structures in our DAM system, archive final masters, and deliver optimized exports for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and the corporate website.
- • Iterate rapidly based on stakeholder feedback—whether it’s tightening a three-second hook, swapping a music track, or re-editing for a new aspect ratio—while documenting version control and maintaining meticulous project files.
- • Contribute to creative brainstorms, pitch bold ideas, and articulate the “why” behind every shot, cut, and transition. Learn to translate marketing briefs into emotionally resonant narratives that drive measurable engagement.
- • Gain exposure to analytics dashboards to understand how watch-time, CTR, and conversion metrics inform creative decisions, then apply those insights to refine future content.
- • Participate in weekly professional-development workshops led by Cambria leaders—covering topics from personal branding and presentation skills to sustainability storytelling and inclusive design.
- • Mentor under an assigned creative professional who will coach you on advanced editing techniques, client communication, and career navigation within a fast-growing, family-owned company.
- • Embrace occasional local travel (Eden Prairie, Belle Plaine, Le Sueur) to capture dynamic factory footage, community events, and customer testimonials—lifting and rigging gear up to 30 lbs as needed.
- • Leave the internship with a polished portfolio piece, robust network, and the confidence that your work has tangibly elevated a premium American brand trusted in millions of homes.
