Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Design scalable, recurring video formats (interviews, series, member stories, behind-the-scenes) with clear POV, visual identity, cadence, and platform-specific distribution plans from inception.
- • Edit social-native video content across formats: 45-second shorts, 20-minute long-form episodes, podcasts, and brand films, with expert command of hooks, pacing, retention, and thumbnail design.
- • Build and own the distribution engine that transforms one production into multiple platform-specific outputs (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn) across languages and markets without sacrificing quality.
- • Repurpose existing assets (events, brand films, member stories) into platform-optimized content, ensuring one piece generates at least five derivative formats.
- • Use performance data (retention, saves, shares, comments, engagement rate) to inform content decisions, doubling down on high-compounding formats and discontinuing underperforming ones.
- • Integrate AI tools (Scenario, Remotion, ElevenLabs) into the production pipeline to automate repetitive tasks, prototype quickly, localize content, and scale output while maintaining creative standards.
- • Execute lean video shoots solo or with minimal support, applying solid camera and lighting fundamentals to capture high-quality B-roll and interviews for ongoing content streams.
- • Collaborate closely with Social Media, Brand, Design, and AI Ops teams to align video strategy with broader content goals and brand narrative.
- • Partner with local marketing teams in France, Belgium, Spain, and Canada to adapt formats for regional relevance while preserving core brand identity.
- • Own end-to-end creative ownership: from concept and production to editing, distribution, and performance analysis — with accountability for growing Alan’s brand reach and awareness through video.
- • Maintain a social-native mindset: understand why viewers stop scrolling, how attention is captured in the first three seconds, and how captions and sound design drive engagement on each platform.
- • Plan cutdowns, platform variants, and localization workflows before filming begins, ensuring efficiency and scalability from the earliest stage of production.
- • Apply data-driven iteration: treat each video as a test, measure its impact, and use insights to refine the next round of content — never letting algorithms dictate creative direction.
- • Work within a hybrid model, based close to Paris to document key events, behind-the-scenes moments, and on-site content opportunities.
- • Ship high-quality work consistently with strong ownership, autonomy, and a bias for action — balancing speed and craft without compromising brand integrity.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years experience in video production or content creation with a strong reel of social-native work
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- • Expert editing skills in at least one professional tool (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, CapCut) with sharp sense of pacing and sound design
- • Social-native understanding: expertise in hooks, retention, opening frames, captions, and thumbnails
- • Proven experience designing recurring video formats from scratch and explaining their success
- • Distribution-first mindset: planning platform variants and cutdowns before shooting
- • Lean shooting capability: competent in camera operation and lighting fundamentals for solo or minimal-team shoots
- • Data-aware: using performance metrics to guide content decisions, not algorithmic trends
- • AI-curious: quick to experiment with AI tools to scale output without lowering creative quality
- • Based close to Paris to attend key events and behind-the-scenes shoots
- • Strong ownership mentality with focus on shipping high-quality work
- • Collaborative across Brand, Design, Social, and external talent
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fair rewards: generous equity packages for permanent contracts
- • Flexible hybrid setup: option to work from Paris HQ or sponsored co-working hubs in Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon, Annecy, Nantes, or Biarritz
- • Top-of-the-line equipment: MacBook Air, keyboard, laptop stand, monitor, and Bose noise-canceling headphones
- • Comprehensive healthcare insurance: 100% coverage for you and your children, 90–100% for partners (permanent contracts only)
- • Flexible vacation policy and flexible working hours
- • Dedicated personal coaching from day one to support impact, engagement, and growth
- • Extended parental leave for all new parents (permanent contracts only)
