  • • Innodata is seeking a dynamic and exceptionally skilled Video Editor with a strong production focus to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. This remote role is pivotal in shaping and amplifying our brand presence through the creation of high-impact, short-form video content. You will be instrumental in transforming complex product narratives, insightful executive interviews, and deep subject matter expertise into visually engaging and compelling digital assets. Your work will be specifically optimized for leading platforms such as YouTube and TikTok, aiming to drive brand awareness and generate demand for Innodata's cutting-edge AI technology solutions.
  • • As a key contributor to our marketing efforts, you will be responsible for producing a consistent flow of short-form videos, typically ranging from 30 to 90 seconds. These videos will clearly articulate Innodata's core capabilities in AI, data engineering, and agentic evaluation, making sophisticated technical concepts accessible and relevant to a broad business audience. Your ability to translate intricate technical jargon into clear, concise, and visually appealing narratives will be paramount.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves adapting and repurposing content for various social media platforms. You will create distinct video variations specifically tailored for the unique formats and audience expectations of YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and LinkedIn, ensuring maximum reach and engagement across these channels.
  • • Beyond product-focused content, you will also play a crucial role in capturing and editing interviews with both internal leaders and external subject matter experts. This includes skillfully extracting compelling sound bites and creating engaging micro-content from longer discussions, which can be leveraged for social media snippets and promotional materials.
  • • To enhance the visual appeal and clarity of the videos, you will be expected to incorporate a range of post-production elements. This includes adding professional motion graphics, accurate subtitles, informative charts and data visualizations, and ensuring all content adheres to Innodata's established branded visual identity. A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetic will be essential.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the launch and scaling of Innodata's official YouTube and TikTok channels. You will be involved in developing repeatable visual formats and innovative series concepts that can build a loyal subscriber base and establish a strong content pipeline. Your creative input will directly influence the growth trajectory of these key platforms.
  • • Strategic optimization will be a core component of your responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with the demand generation team to ensure video content is strategically aligned with ongoing marketing campaigns and objectives. Furthermore, you will be responsible for optimizing video elements such as titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails, as well as advising on the most effective posting cadence to maximize discoverability and viewership.
  • • The creation of both gated and ungated video assets to support landing pages and lead generation efforts will also fall under your purview. You will need to understand how video can be used effectively within the broader marketing funnel.
  • • Finally, you will be tasked with tracking key engagement metrics for all video content. This includes analyzing data such as views, engagement rates, click-through rates (CTR), and watch time. Based on these insights, you will provide regular reports and actionable recommendations for content optimization and future strategy development.
  • • Target Deliverables include producing approximately 8-12 short-form videos per month, 1-2 longer-form YouTube videos per month, maintaining a consistent branded visual style guide, and delivering a monthly analytics report detailing key performance indicators.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing short-form video production for social media platforms (YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn).
  • • Proficiency in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
  • • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, engaging, and visually compelling video content.
  • • Strong understanding of video optimization for various digital platforms, including SEO best practices for YouTube and platform-specific content strategies for TikTok.
  • • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with marketing teams and subject matter experts.
