• • BJAK is seeking a passionate and skilled Videographer to join our dynamic team in the United Kingdom. This role is pivotal in shaping BJAK's brand narrative and enhancing audience engagement through compelling visual storytelling. You will be instrumental in producing high-quality video content that resonates across various digital platforms, contributing directly to our mission of building superior application platforms and making society more efficient.
• • As a Videographer, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the entire video production lifecycle. You will actively participate in developing creative concepts and visual strategies, translating them into detailed storyboards and executing engaging video shoots for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu (XHS). This involves expertly operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture pristine footage, producing a diverse range of content from in-depth corporate stories to rapid-turnaround social media clips.
• • In the post-production phase, you will meticulously edit videos, focusing on pacing, narrative flow, and overall visual appeal. Your expertise will extend to color grading, sound design, basic motion graphics, and subtitling, ensuring all content aligns seamlessly with BJAK's established brand identity. You will manage multiple editing timelines concurrently, consistently meeting deadlines and delivering polished final products.
• • Collaboration is key to this role. You will work hand-in-hand with our Creative, Marketing, and Social Media teams, transforming their ideas into visually stunning realities. You'll be adept at incorporating feedback efficiently and effectively, and will partner with designers and copywriters to ensure a cohesive and impactful content output. While not a formal leadership position, there may be opportunities to support or guide interns or junior editors, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• • You will also be responsible for managing the full production workflow, from initial media management and equipment setup to final exporting. Maintaining organized archives of raw footage, edited files, and project assets is crucial for efficient workflow. Furthermore, you will be expected to troubleshoot any technical or equipment issues that arise during shoots or editing sessions, ensuring smooth operations.
• • To excel in this role, you will need to stay abreast of the latest video trends, social media formats, and best practices. Proactively experimenting with new techniques and styles will be encouraged to continuously improve audience engagement. You will also be tasked with suggesting workflow enhancements to streamline production processes and increase efficiency.
