- • Serve as the dedicated relationship manager for a portfolio of VIP clients with AUM or trading volume above defined thresholds, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, crypto funds, and institutional traders.
- • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with VIP clients across Africa (Sub-Saharan and North Africa), Switzerland, and Pakistan through regular business reviews and check-ins to assess satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
- • Act as the internal advocate for VIP clients by coordinating with product, compliance, and operations teams to resolve issues promptly and ensure seamless service delivery.
- • Proactively identify and onboard new VIP clients through referrals, industry events, and regional outreach campaigns in assigned markets.
- • Drive trading volume growth, fee revenue, and product cross-sell across OKX’s ecosystem including spot trading, derivatives, OTC, earn products, and Web3 applications.
- • Develop and execute territory-specific growth strategies tailored to the regulatory, cultural, and market dynamics of Africa, Switzerland, and Pakistan.
- • Represent OKX at key crypto conferences, summits, and community events in the assigned regions to enhance brand visibility and client acquisition.
- • Stay current on competitive landscape, regulatory developments, and macro trends affecting crypto adoption in Africa, Switzerland, and Pakistan.
- • Gather and relay client feedback to internal product and strategy teams to influence roadmap decisions and product enhancements.
- • Identify emerging trends in VIP client trading behavior, asset preferences, and market demand to inform business planning and client segmentation.
- • Maintain accurate client records and activity logs using CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent systems.
- • Operate autonomously in a fast-paced, global environment with minimal supervision while meeting performance targets and KPIs.
- • Communicate effectively across cultures and time zones with fluency in English and proficiency in at least one regional language (French, Swahili, Arabic, Hausa, Afrikaans, German, Urdu, or Punjabi).
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in relationship management, private banking, institutional sales, or brokerage — preferably within crypto, fintech, or financial services
- • Proven track record managing high-value client portfolios with demonstrable revenue impact
- • Prior exposure to African markets, Swiss financial services, or Pakistan's fintech/crypto ecosystem is strongly preferred
- • Experience working in or with a crypto exchange, trading firm, or Web3 company is a significant advantage
- • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport across cultures
- • Deep understanding of crypto products: spot trading, perpetual futures, options, and staking
