- • WHOOP is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Visual Merchandising Operations Manager to spearhead the operational execution and continuous upkeep of our global retail and in-store experiences. - • In close collaboration with the Head of Visual Merchandising, the Creative team, and the Retail Experience Design department, you will ensure that all visual merchandising concepts are implemented with unwavering precision, absolute consistency, and exceptional operational excellence across our diverse network of wholesale partners. Your primary focus will be on the seamless execution of visual merchandising plans, acting as the central point of contact for vendor coordination, ensuring the highest standards of material quality, meticulously managing project costs, and overseeing the entire lifecycle of regional fixtures.
- • This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining WHOOP’s premium brand standards in every physical touchpoint. You will be responsible for ensuring that our in-store presence not only reflects the cutting-edge innovation and aspirational lifestyle associated with WHOOP but also consistently meets critical timeline and budget objectives. Your operational expertise will be key to scaling our retail footprint effectively and maintaining brand integrity across various markets.
- • Key responsibilities will include developing and refining operational processes for visual merchandising deployment, from initial concept to final installation. You will manage the end-to-end process of sourcing, procuring, and distributing visual merchandising materials and fixtures, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. This involves building and nurturing strong relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and installation teams, negotiating contracts, and monitoring performance to guarantee quality and adherence to specifications.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves rigorous quality control. You will establish and enforce quality standards for all VM elements, conducting regular site visits and audits to assess the condition and accuracy of installations. Identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly will be crucial to maintaining brand consistency and visual appeal.
- • Financial stewardship is another core component. You will be responsible for developing and managing budgets for visual merchandising operations, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising on quality or brand representation. This includes forecasting material needs, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- • Furthermore, you will play a vital role in the lifecycle management of fixtures and display units. This includes planning for maintenance, repair, replacement, and eventual decommissioning, ensuring that our retail spaces remain fresh, functional, and aligned with current brand aesthetics. You will also contribute to the development of operational playbooks and guidelines to support regional teams and partners in executing VM standards.
