- • As a VP Analyst specializing in AI Infrastructure for Heads of Infrastructure & Operations, you will serve as a trusted industry thought leader within Gartner’s Business and Technology Insights group, delivering strategic insights that help global enterprises navigate AI-driven transformation.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include creating innovative, actionable research content; analyzing market trends in AI infrastructure (including hardware, data management, security, and cloud/hybrid/edge environments); developing reference architectures; advising senior IT and business leaders; presenting at conferences and client briefings; mentoring junior analysts; and supporting sales teams with market insights.
- • You will join Gartner, a globally recognized research and advisory firm with 21,000 associates serving ~14,000 clients across ~90 countries, known for its objective, high-impact insights that empower enterprise decision-making.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise as a leading voice in AI infrastructure, shape research agendas, build executive credibility, and advance your career through thought leadership, client impact, and collaboration within a high-performing, inclusive global team.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred
- • 15+ years of relevant industry experience, including senior leadership in Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) at mid- or large-sized organizations
- • Deep expertise in AI infrastructure, including CPUs/GPUs/ASICs/ARM, distributed training, model serving, data ingestion, networking, cloud platforms, DevOps, and frameworks
- • Proven ability to build TCO/ROI models and forecasts for large-scale AI investments
- • Experience integrating AI infrastructure across cloud, on-premises, AIOps/MLOps, and automation technologies
- • Strong executive presence, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present complex concepts clearly to stakeholders
- • Demonstrated excellence in research, writing, analytical thinking, and synthesizing data to defend conclusions
- • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed
