- • Create innovative, thought-provoking, and highly leveraged "must-have insights" content that drives client decision-making in business and technology markets.
- • Develop actionable strategies and tactics for Analyst Relations leaders through published research, client inquiries, stage presentations, teleconferences, and direct client meetings.
- • Conduct in-depth analysis to identify root causes of client challenges and reframe thinking to enable strategic progression and business outcomes.
- • Establish and articulate Insights positions across teams of analysts, demonstrating thought leadership within the Business and Technology Insights (BTI) group.
- • Deliver provocative, independent insights to Gartner leadership that influence and evolve the direction of the research agenda.
- • Research, analyze, and predict global market trends and competitive shifts to provide clients and vendors with forward-looking, actionable advice.
- • Provide direct client guidance through virtual and in-person interactions, aligning recommendations with their designated content area and critical business priorities.
- • Create and deliver high-value presentation materials for Gartner conferences, industry events, professional association forums, and client briefings.
- • Support BTI and Sales teams by serving as the voice of the market, enabling Insights teams to develop targeted content and drive client engagement.
- • Conduct high-quality, timely peer reviews of research content to ensure rigor, clarity, and alignment with Gartner methodology.
- • Build and maintain credibility as an industry expert representing Gartner’s research methodology, strategies, and insights at all organizational levels.
- • Actively participate in innovation and ideation sessions, collaborating with peers across the global Insights community to enhance research quality and relevance.
- • Identify and implement improvements to research processes that elevate service delivery and operational efficiency within BTI.
- • Mentor and coach junior team members to develop their analytical, research, and client engagement capabilities.
- • Maintain a client-centric focus by encouraging frequent, meaningful engagement with Gartner insights and interactions to maximize client value.
- • Represent Gartner with executive presence, establishing immediate credibility with C-suite executives and key stakeholders.
- • Work independently while actively collaborating across multicultural, global teams in a highly matrixed environment.
- • Navigate complex, fast-paced deadlines to produce high-quality deliverables under tight timelines.
- • Communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical clients.
- • Apply analytical frameworks and data patterns to draw defensible conclusions that address real-world client challenges.
- • Possess strong business and financial acumen to align insights with enterprise strategic and fiscal objectives.
- • Maintain deep expertise in the global competitive landscape of the subject area and its interdependencies across markets.
- • Be willing and able to travel up to 25% for client engagements, conferences, and internal gatherings where applicable.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in an Analyst Relations team or leadership role
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
- • Demonstrated experience working with Senior Leadership in marketing, communications, strategy, or product areas to drive corporate direction
- • Proven ability to plan, develop, and execute an evaluative & advisory Analyst Relations program
- • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical skills, and presentation ability to engage clients effectively
- • Demonstrated excellence in research and writing ability
