- • Blackpoint Cyber is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Vice President (VP) of Corporate Marketing, Brand, and Communications to lead our global corporate marketing and communications strategy. This pivotal leadership role is instrumental in shaping how our brand and compelling story are perceived and amplified across the dynamic cybersecurity ecosystem. As a company experiencing hyper-growth, fueled by a recent $190 million Series C funding round, we are looking for a seasoned professional to elevate our market presence and solidify our position as a trusted authority and leading partner, particularly within the Managed Service Provider (MSP) community.
- • Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, the VP will be a key strategic partner, collaborating closely with Product, Marketing, Threat Intelligence and Security Operations, Executive Leadership, Sales, and Partner teams. The core objective is to ensure a consistent, compelling, and unified narrative that not only supports our aggressive growth trajectory but also reinforces our industry leadership. This is a highly visible position with significant ownership, tasked with building and executing a comprehensive brand strategy that strengthens Blackpoint Cyber’s market leadership, amplizes our mission to deliver national security-grade technology solutions to commercial customers, and elevates our voice within the competitive cybersecurity landscape.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass defining and continuously evolving the company's core narrative, messaging frameworks, brand voice, and visual identity. You will be the guardian of our brand, ensuring seamless alignment across all go-to-market activities, external communications, and internal channels. A critical aspect of this role involves championing and driving organization-wide adoption of brand and messaging standards, fostering a culture of consistent execution through cross-functional partnerships.
- • You will spearhead and execute Blackpoint Cyber’s global communications strategy, encompassing proactive media relations, strategic social media engagement, impactful executive communications, and compelling corporate storytelling. A key challenge and opportunity will be to translate complex cybersecurity concepts – including managed detection and response (MDR), threat intelligence, artificial intelligence (AI) in security, and advanced security operations – into clear, accessible, and persuasive narratives. You will play a crucial role in building and elevating our AI story, distinctly showcasing our technological differentiation and the tangible outcomes we deliver to customers.
- • Cultivating and managing robust relationships with key cybersecurity media outlets, influential industry analysts, and thought leaders will be paramount to expanding Blackpoint Cyber’s visibility, credibility, and market influence. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to craft and refine company messaging for critical events such as product launches, significant company milestones, strategic partnerships, funding announcements, and responses to evolving industry developments.
- • A significant focus will be placed on building and elevating executive thought leadership. This includes strategically supporting speaking engagements, securing media opportunities, and ensuring impactful participation in key industry events. Furthermore, you will guide the development and execution of crisis and incident communication strategies, ensuring timely, transparent, and effective messaging during sensitive situations.
- • To ensure accountability and demonstrate impact, you will establish key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and reporting frameworks to rigorously measure media impact, overall brand awareness, and share of voice within the industry. As the company continues its rapid expansion, you will lead and mentor a high-performing team comprising brand, design, content, and social media functions, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- • Success in this role will be measured by the consistency and effectiveness of our messaging across all marketing, product, and corporate communications channels. We will look for measurable improvements in brand awareness and share of voice within the cybersecurity sector, a demonstrable growth in media coverage and overall industry visibility for Blackpoint Cyber, and a significant expansion of our executive thought leadership presence across industry media and events. The strength and depth of your relationships with analysts, journalists, and industry influencers will also be a key indicator of success.
