- • As Vice President of Direct Marketing Sales (DMS) / Telesales at Humana, you will lead one of the company’s most critical growth engines, driving acquisition and revenue across Medicare Advantage, PDP, and ancillary products through a high-performing, compliant, and scalable telesales operation.
- • You will own the full telesales lifecycle — from lead intake and conversion optimization to enrollment, retention, and post-season analysis — ensuring alignment with enterprise Medicare growth goals while balancing aggressive targets with operational discipline, customer experience, and regulatory compliance.
- • You will lead a large-scale organization spanning internal teams and external BPO partners, building leadership bench strength, establishing performance management systems, and driving continuous improvement in speed-to-lead, contact rates, close rates, and cost efficiency through data-driven insights and technology enablement.
- • You will partner with Marketing, Digital, Technology, and Finance teams to align lead generation, optimize channel mix, implement advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools, and ensure seamless omnichannel integration while maintaining strict adherence to CMS guidelines and internal compliance standards.
- • You will drive Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) readiness and execution, including staffing, training, contingency planning, and post-season analysis, ensuring consistent performance and compliance during peak volume periods.
- • You will report to the SVP, Distribution, operate in a hybrid work model with ~30% travel, and be based flexibly with preference for Tampa, FL or Louisville, KY, contributing to Humana’s mission of putting health first for millions of members nationwide.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12+ years of leadership experience in telesales, inside sales, or direct-to-consumer environments
- • Proven ability to lead large-scale, high-volume sales organizations with measurable results in revenue growth, cost efficiency, and operational scalability
- • Strong financial, operational, and analytical capabilities, including advanced proficiency in CRM, funnel analytics, forecasting, and sales productivity tooling (AI-enabled call guidance a plus)
- • Experience in healthcare, Medicare, or other regulated industries preferred
- • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred
