  • • As the VP of Finance at Atlas Oncology Partners, you will be instrumental in shaping the financial future of a rapidly scaling, physician-led organization dedicated to transforming cancer care through a value-based model. This is a pivotal executive role, offering the opportunity to build and refine the financial infrastructure that underpins our mission to deliver whole person care, improve patient outcomes, and enhance financial independence for our provider partners.
  • • You will hold comprehensive oversight and accountability for all financial operations, acting as the key architect of our financial strategy and execution. Your primary focus will be on establishing and scaling robust financial systems, processes, and reporting mechanisms that are essential for a high-growth, multi-market healthcare enterprise.
  • • A core responsibility will be the development and implementation of standardized financial infrastructure. This includes creating consistent performance metrics and operational frameworks across all markets and functional areas, ensuring scalability and replicability as Atlas expands.
  • • You will be tasked with rigorously assessing and evaluating the financial performance against long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts. This involves providing critical insights and actionable recommendations to guide both short-term tactical decisions and long-term strategic growth initiatives.
  • • The creation of sophisticated financial and decision-making models will be crucial. These models will serve as the foundation for informed business decisions, enabling the executive team to navigate complex financial landscapes and capitalize on opportunities.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve delivering clear, accurate, and insightful financial reporting to the Executive Team and the Board of Directors. This reporting will not only detail the financial health of the organization but also illuminate the drivers of forecast variances, offer deep business insights, and highlight current and future risks and opportunities.
  • • You will be responsible for building and nurturing a world-class finance organization. This entails attracting, hiring, inspiring, and leading a strong, diverse, and high-performing team. Your leadership will focus on coaching and developing team members to achieve their full potential and meet critical business priorities and goals.
  • • As a champion for a dynamic growth culture, you will drive initiatives focused on revenue enhancement, profitability improvement, and strategic alignment with the company’s overarching goals and objectives.
  • • You will serve as a trusted financial advisor to the Executive Team, providing strategic direction and fiscal solutions that contribute directly to achieving both short-term objectives and long-term organizational success.
  • • Collaboration will be key. You will partner closely with Rubicon Founders, investors, and physician partners, ensuring that all financial solutions are sound, strategically aligned, and support the company's mission.
  • • This role requires a leader who can effectively communicate complex financial concepts to a wide range of stakeholders, from clinical teams to the Board of Directors, demonstrating a high degree of executive presence and clarity.
  • • You will play a vital role in assessing and evaluating financial performance against long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts, offering strategic insights and recommendations for growth.
  • • Your expertise will be critical in developing financial models that support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
  • • You will lead the charge in building and managing a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.
  • • Ultimately, you will be the guardian of Atlas Oncology Partners' financial integrity and a key driver of its strategic growth and success in the evolving landscape of value-based oncology care.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture, with a track record of hiring, developing, and retaining top talent.
  • • Deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning, with a strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude to develop innovative solutions for complex business challenges.
