- • As the Vice President, Integrated Media Planning (B2B) at Dentsu Aegis Network Ltd., you will be the pivotal leader responsible for a significant integrated account, driving strategic direction and providing comprehensive media and account leadership across multiple channels.
- • This role demands an in-depth understanding of the client's business, coupled with a keen awareness of the broader technology and competitive media landscape, particularly within the B2B sector.
- • You will be instrumental in cultivating and nurturing senior-level client and media relationships, positioning yourself as the ultimate media consultant.
- • Your responsibilities extend to the general management of your team, encompassing big-picture strategic thinking, overseeing all facets of media management, and ensuring the financial performance of the account.
- • As an integrated media leader, you will possess a strong command of communications planning, media strategy, and media activation, articulating traditional and digital media concepts with fluency in the B2B context.
- • You will report directly to the SVP, Client Services, and are expected to be on-site in the San Francisco area two days per week, fostering collaboration and in-person engagement.
- • A core responsibility is to serve as the lead in managing the agency-client relationship, directing the development of planning objectives and strategies that are meticulously aligned with the client’s overarching marketing objectives.
- • You will interpret complex research data, providing insightful thought leadership that effectively translates brand marketing objectives into clear, actionable media strategies.
- • Proactively research and implement innovative techniques and emerging technologies that are relevant and beneficial to clients’ media strategies, ensuring they remain at the forefront of the industry.
- • Oversee the rigorous analysis of program results, engaging in informed discussions with the client and internal teams regarding strategic implications and future optimizations.
- • Actively share and discuss critical industry information pertaining to media trends, market dynamics, and related competitive landscapes.
- • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships within the media community, continuously developing partnerships and fostering higher-level connections for the exchange of innovative ideas and best practices.
- • Contribute compelling client "case studies" to the national organization, showcasing successful strategies and outcomes to elevate the agency's collective knowledge and capabilities.
- • Identify and secure strategic relationships with key senior clients, aiming to deepen the agency's engagement and partnership.
- • Accurately represent the client’s perspective when reviewing creative work and strategic plans, leveraging this insight to provide constructive feedback to your team and present compellingly to the client.
- • Actively represent Dentsu Media within the broader industry by attending industry functions and participating in local market committees where applicable, enhancing the agency's visibility and influence.
- • Demonstrate a profound knowledge of client brands, their equity, consumer definitions, and motivations, ensuring all media efforts are deeply rooted in consumer understanding.
- • Initiate and lead long-term projects designed to enhance agency revenue, foster employee learning, and support career growth paths within the team.
- • Establish and maintain clear, efficient communication processes with clients and agency service teams for each piece of business managed by your team.
- • Direct the development of impactful client presentations and other critical communications, ensuring they are clear, compelling, and persuasive.
- • Lead client presentations, serving as a coach and role model for team leads and supervisors, empowering them to deliver with confidence and impact.
