  • • As the VP of Marketing at Jimdo GmbH, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our company, driving global expansion and spearheading AI-enabled product innovation. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will operate as a key strategic partner to the CEO and the executive team, defining and executing a comprehensive global marketing strategy. Your mandate will encompass demand generation, product marketing, brand positioning, and lifecycle growth, all aimed at propelling Jimdo to new heights in the AI-powered SaaS landscape.
  • • You will be tasked with building and scaling a sophisticated, AI-driven marketing engine designed to deliver measurable revenue impact. This involves not only strengthening our competitive positioning but also elevating Jimdo's authority as a leader in the AI-powered SaaS space, particularly for self-employed individuals and micro-businesses. This high-visibility leadership position offers direct influence over company-wide strategy and growth initiatives.
  • • A core responsibility will be to define and execute a global marketing strategy that is tightly aligned with our revenue objectives and company OKRs. This strategic roadmap will guide all marketing efforts, ensuring a cohesive and impactful approach to market penetration and customer acquisition.
  • • You will own the critical aspects of product positioning, messaging, pricing narratives, and competitive differentiation. This involves deeply understanding our product, our market, and our customers to craft compelling value propositions that resonate and drive adoption.
  • • Leading go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new features, innovative AI capabilities, and market expansions will be a key part of your role. You will orchestrate the successful launch and scaling of these initiatives, ensuring they achieve their intended market impact and business goals.
  • • A significant focus will be placed on building and scaling an AI-driven demand generation engine. This will involve leveraging a multi-channel approach, including paid acquisition, SEO, strategic partnerships, lifecycle marketing, and Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies, to create a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, RevOps, Product, and Customer Success (CS), to ensure seamless alignment and optimize full-funnel performance. This collaborative approach is crucial for maximizing customer acquisition, retention, and expansion revenue.
  • • Strengthening Jimdo's brand voice and establishing thought leadership in the AI-enabled SaaS sector and the small business enablement space will be a priority. You will be responsible for communicating our vision and value proposition effectively to key stakeholders and the broader market.
  • • As a leader, you will lead, coach, and grow a high-performing, distributed marketing team of 15–20 professionals. This team will span across growth marketing, content creation, product marketing, brand management, and marketing operations, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • • You will have full ownership of the marketing budget, including the development and management of attribution models, performance dashboards, and accurate revenue forecasting. This requires a data-driven approach to marketing investment and performance measurement.
  • • The role demands a strategic mindset, enabling you to balance a long-term vision with the ability to drive hands-on execution. You must be adept at translating high-level strategy into actionable plans and overseeing their successful implementation.
  • • You will be at the forefront of integrating AI and automation into our marketing strategy, driving experimentation and optimizing campaigns for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. This includes staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in marketing automation and AI.
