- ⢠Lead the medical excellence and safety strategy for Hippocratic AIâs generative AI platform, ensuring all patient and healthcare professional interactions meet the highest standards of clinical accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance across the life sciences value chain.
- ⢠Define and maintain clinical and scientific quality standards for all AI-generated responses, ensuring they are evidence-based, aligned with treatment guidelines, and current with evolving standards of care across therapeutic areas.
- ⢠Own patient safety strategy including adverse event detection, documentation, reporting, and follow-up; build pharmacovigilance workflows that meet or exceed FDA, EMA, and GVP/GCP requirements.
- ⢠Design clinical escalation pathways, triage logic, and guardrails to ensure appropriate patient routing when interactions exceed safe operating parameters; embed medical guardrails and quality feedback loops into platform architecture with Product and Engineering.
- ⢠Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure HIPAA, GDPR, and data governance compliance; advise on MLR review processes and regulatory positioning for AI-enabled patient and HCP engagement.
- ⢠Provide medical and safety credibility in enterprise sales conversations, RFP responses, and executive workshops; develop materials demonstrating clinical rigor and safety architecture to enterprise stakeholders.
- ⢠Build internal knowledge bases, training programs, and continuous improvement frameworks to elevate medical and safety literacy across Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams.
- ⢠Translate learnings from deployments and safety data into repeatable playbooks; establish feedback mechanisms that drive platform enhancement and scale medical excellence as a competitive differentiator.
đŻ Requirements
- ⢠15+ years of experience in clinical medicine, patient safety, pharmacovigilance, medical affairs, or clinical quality assurance within pharma, biotech, health systems, or life sciences services organizations.
- ⢠Deep expertise in patient safety systems, adverse event reporting, pharmacovigilance regulations, and clinical quality governance.
- ⢠Strong understanding of FDA and EMA regulatory frameworks as they apply to patient engagement, clinical communication, medical devices, and digital health technologies.
- ⢠Demonstrated ability to build safety and quality systems from the ground up in complex or evolving environments.
- ⢠Proven ability to engage credibly with VP, SVP, and C-suite stakeholders across medical, safety, regulatory, legal, and compliance functions at enterprise healthcare organizations.
- ⢠Experience translating clinical and safety requirements into operational workflows, product specifications, or technology guardrails.
