- • Lead product strategy by translating company goals, customer needs, and market signals into clear, actionable product direction for SewerAI’s AI-powered underground infrastructure inspection platform.
- • Build and operate a repeatable customer evidence engine using interviews, win/loss analysis, usage signals, and sales feedback to inform roadmap decisions with data-driven rigor.
- • Drive ruthless prioritization by sequencing high-impact initiatives and eliminating low-value work to maintain focus and momentum in a high-growth environment.
- • Lead, develop, and elevate the product management team, raising standards in discovery, prioritization, and cross-functional leadership across engineering, design, sales, and customer success.
- • Establish lightweight, effective planning rhythms that create clarity and alignment without introducing unnecessary process or bureaucracy.
- • Partner closely with Engineering to ensure disciplined scope management, predictable delivery, and alignment on sequencing of product initiatives.
- • Own and communicate the product roadmap transparently to Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and executive leadership to ensure unified go-to-market execution.
- • Champion strong UX across the entire product portfolio, emphasizing workflow clarity, intuitive information architecture, and visual quality in AI-enabled infrastructure software.
- • Embed design thinking early in product development—not as a finishing step—to ensure complex AI-driven insights are presented as credible, intuitive, and actionable for end users.
- • Identify high-value AI opportunities that improve customer outcomes, automate manual workflows, and increase internal operational velocity while ensuring all AI initiatives are tied to measurable business and customer value.
- • Champion responsible experimentation across discovery, prototyping, research, and delivery, avoiding novelty-driven features in favor of impact-driven innovation.
- • Serve as a credible, trusted partner to Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering, and founders, strengthening product enablement so GTM teams understand what’s being built and why it matters.
- • Bring commercial fluency to product decisions by anchoring priorities in pipeline impact, customer retention, expansion potential, and demonstrable ROI for utility and contractor customers.
- • Build a high-performing product and design organization rooted in clear ownership, strong craft, accountability, and low-ego collaboration.
- • Coach product managers and designers to become sharper customer listeners, better synthesizers of feedback, and stronger strategic partners across the organization.
- • Model a culture of low ego, high standards, and bias toward action in a fast-paced, scrappy startup environment where ambiguity is constant and impact is measurable.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years in product management, including meaningful B2B SaaS leadership experience
- • Experience scaling a product organization through high growth in vertical SaaS, infrastructure tech, govtech, construction, or similar workflow-heavy markets
- • Strong design judgment and proven experience partnering with or leading design teams
- • Practical experience with AI-enabled products or AI-augmented product workflows
- • Excellent cross-functional leadership and written/verbal communication skills
- • Commercial fluency across pipeline, retention, expansion, and GTM strategy
