  • • As the VP of Payor Partnerships at Verse Medical, you will serve as the strategic quarterback for the company’s key health plan customers, shaping the future of at-home care delivery and payment by aligning Verse’s solutions with complex payer needs while driving long-term growth.
  • • Day to day, you will lead negotiations and close multi-year contracts with health plan customers, own and nurture executive-level relationships, build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and cross-functional collaboration, and consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • • Verse Medical is a well-funded Series C healthcare technology company backed by General Catalyst, SignalFire, and Sapphire Ventures, dedicated to modernizing care coordination by connecting providers, payors, and patients through innovative software that replaces outdated systems like faxes and phone tag with reliable, hospital-quality at-home care.
  • • In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and sell innovative contract models, help build Verse’s payor partnerships playbook and processes, represent the company at industry conferences and events, and directly contribute to scaling a mission-driven organization focused on equitable healthcare access.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7-10+ years of experience in payor sales or business development within the healthcare industry
  • • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, including experience engaging and influencing C-suite executives
  • • Strong ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals and communicate value propositions clearly in fast-paced, competitive environments
  • • Demonstrated skill in independently generating and maintaining a consistent sales pipeline
  • • Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time, depending on sales cycle demands
