📋 Description

• The Vice President, Planning & Procurement leads the strategy and execution of the organization’s logistics, repair, distribution, and procurement operations, driving forecasting accuracy, inventory optimization, process improvement, and cross-functional alignment across the enterprise to support financial performance, customer satisfaction, and scalable growth.
• Day-to-day duties include developing and executing planning strategy for logistics, repair, and distribution networks; building standardized demand planning and forecasting processes aligned with financial forecasts; leading the S&OP process to balance supply and demand, identify risks, and drive proactive decisions; creating capacity models to optimize resource utilization; ensuring optimal stock levels and effective inventory management across regions and depots; conducting operational productivity analyses; developing and automating KPI reporting; analyzing business and financial results to support strategic decision-making; monitoring and improving forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency through performance metrics; partnering with procurement, forecasting, business development, and other teams to align operations with demand planning; collaborating with clients and actuaries to forecast volume requirements and validate assumptions; driving continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams; leading and mentoring a team of directors and managers supporting planning, analytics, procurement, and order management; providing coaching, career development, and performance management to build a high-performing team; managing inventory budgets exceeding $100M to maximize margin growth through effective supply–demand balancing; and supporting cost-reduction efforts while maintaining high service levels.

• In this role, the individual can learn and achieve mastery in enterprise-level Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), global inventory optimization, and strategic procurement leadership; develop expertise in aligning supply chain operations with financial forecasting and business development goals; gain experience managing large-scale inventory budgets exceeding $100M; strengthen leadership capabilities by mentoring directors and managers across planning, analytics, procurement, and order management; and drive measurable improvements in forecasting accuracy, operational efficiency, and cost reduction while maintaining high service levels—positioning them as a strategic operations leader within a Fortune 500 global enterprise.
