- • The VP-Product Management Virtual Cards role at Mastercard is responsible for defining, building, and scaling the company’s Virtual Card product portfolio to enable secure, embedded, and data-rich payment experiences across B2B, B2C, and platform-based ecosystems. This role is critical as virtual cards are a core growth engine for Mastercard Commercial Solutions, supporting use cases such as supplier payments, travel and expense, marketplaces, SaaS platforms, procurement, on-demand payments, and embedded finance.
- • Day to day, the incumbent will lead a large senior product organization of 10+ Product Managers and 15 feature teams, define the global product vision and roadmap, engage with issuers, fintechs, platforms, and enterprise partners, design API-first product experiences, own commercial models and pricing frameworks, and drive go-to-market strategies while ensuring alignment with Mastercard’s broader payment, data, and services strategy.
- • The role sits within Mastercard’s Commercial Solutions division, one of the company’s fastest-growing segments, where the Virtual Card Product team builds highly available, globally scalable, multi-tenant products with operational resilience, security, and compliance embedded by design. The team collaborates across Engineering, Cyber & Intelligence, Data & Services, Open Banking, and Consumer Product teams to deliver cohesive end-to-end solutions.
- • In this role, the individual will have the opportunity to shape the future of digital payments at a global scale, drive innovation in tokenized and API-first payment solutions, influence senior leadership and external stakeholders, build and mentor high-performing product teams, and deliver measurable impact through increased virtual card volume, issuer adoption, and SaaS-based revenue.
