- • Lead Tanger’s enterprise-wide marketing strategy with a focus on driving measurable retailer sales, center traffic, and database acquisition through data-driven insights and predictive modeling.
- • Develop and execute annual marketing content and planning calendars, as well as multi-year strategic marketing roadmaps aligned with enterprise growth targets and retail partner priorities.
- • Own the strategic planning and execution of retailer promotional offer strategies, including performance tracking, sales attribution modeling, and marketing support across the portfolio.
- • Build and apply retailer segmentation and benchmarking models to tailor marketing initiatives and improve sales outcomes.
- • Serve as the primary marketing liaison to the leasing team and national retailers, representing Marketing in high-level retailer meetings and quarterly business reviews.
- • Oversee executive-level reporting on a monthly, seasonal, and quarterly basis using Tanger’s strategy framework to communicate insights, evaluate marketing effectiveness, and shape future initiatives.
- • Lead the development and long-term vision for Tanger’s loyalty ecosystem, including membership structure, value proposition, and integration with retailer offers, media, and experiential marketing.
- • Establish enterprise KPIs for loyalty performance—member acquisition, engagement, frequency, retention, and contribution to retailer sales—and ensure consistent reporting and accountability.
- • Embed loyalty initiatives across all marketing programs, including promotional offers, seasonal campaigns, partnerships, and experiential activations, to create a cohesive customer experience.
- • Leverage first-party loyalty data to inform segmentation, targeting, personalization, and campaign optimization across all marketing channels.
- • Partner cross-functionally with Technology, Operations, Finance, and Leasing to ensure loyalty platforms and data infrastructure support current and future business needs.
- • Lead the Marketing Operations function, standardizing processes, optimizing workflows, and improving efficiency and consistency in reporting and execution.
- • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and accruals for NAD and CX budgets, including CapEx, OpEx, and G&A, and support Senior Director, Customer Engagement & Loyalty in LOY budgeting.
- • Apply critical analysis to performance data to identify opportunities, gaps, and strategic pivots, adapting tactics based on market trends and consumer behavior insights.
- • Present marketing strategies, performance insights, and future recommendations with executive presence to national retail partners, internal teams, and senior leadership.
- • Aggregate local, regional, and national market data to support strategic marketing decision-making and analyze the impact of sponsors, partnerships, and media on center promotions.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in marketing or business
- • 15+ years’ experience in strategic marketing
- • Demonstrated leadership capability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams
- • Proven ability to use predictive analytics, data modeling, and performance metrics to drive business outcomes
- • Experience managing executive-level reporting and presenting insights to senior leadership and external retail partners
- • Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
