  • • As the VP/SVP of Product, AI/ML at Lantern, you will be instrumental in defining and executing our artificial intelligence and machine learning product strategy, driving innovation and delivering significant value across the organization.
  • • This is a pivotal, hands-on leadership role that requires a unique blend of strategic vision, technical acumen, and a passion for building and scaling cutting-edge AI solutions within the healthcare technology space.
  • • You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for AI initiatives, from initial ideation and experimentation through to scalable deployment and ongoing optimization, ensuring alignment with Lantern's overarching business objectives.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to develop and evolve Lantern's AI product vision and roadmap, ensuring it is deeply integrated with our enterprise strategy and adheres to robust AI governance standards.
  • • You will be tasked with translating emerging AI technologies, market trends, and potential risks into concrete, actionable strategic choices that propel Lantern forward.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves leading discovery, prototyping, and experimentation efforts to identify high-impact opportunities for AI across various facets of our platform, including member intake, care triage, patient engagement, claims processing, operational workflows, and internal tooling.
  • • You will actively lead hands-on experimentation, developing lean Proofs of Concept (PoCs), rapid prototypes, and agentic workflows to swiftly assess the value and feasibility of AI applications.
  • • A critical function is to create clear, defined pathways from initial concept development through to organizational alignment and ultimately, to the creation of scalable, impactful products.
  • • You will be responsible for converting validated AI opportunities into robust, scalable, and user-friendly product experiences that deliver tangible benefits.
  • • This includes meticulously defining product requirements, making critical prioritization decisions, and fostering close collaboration with Engineering and Data Science teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
  • • You will establish clear, measurable outcomes for AI initiatives and oversee their successful rollout and widespread adoption across the company.
  • • As a thought leader, you will serve as a trusted partner to Product, Engineering, Data Science, Clinical, and Commercial teams, fostering a collaborative environment for AI innovation.
  • • You will play a crucial role in driving organizational AI literacy and adoption, empowering teams to understand, evaluate, and integrate AI tools and practices safely and effectively.
  • • Your ability to communicate complex AI concepts in a clear, concise, and compelling manner will be essential for influencing stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to the executive leadership team.
  • • You will partner closely with the AI SteerCo to ensure all AI solutions rigorously meet Lantern's high standards for safety, security, ethics, privacy, and model risk management.
  • • A core responsibility is to embed effective governance practices into the product development lifecycle without hindering the pace of innovation.
  • • You will maintain a deep and current understanding of the rapidly evolving AI landscape, including the latest trends in machine learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and agentic system patterns.
  • • You will bring an informed, forward-looking perspective on market dynamics, advising on how Lantern can best position itself for future success in the AI-driven healthcare market.
  • • This role is for a builder who can seamlessly transition between high-level enterprise strategy and hands-on technical execution, including prototyping, pressure-testing ideas, and iterating rapidly.
  • • Your work will directly contribute to Lantern's mission of transforming healthcare by leveraging AI to improve member experiences, enhance operational efficiency, and drive significant cost savings.
  • • You will be joining a company that is deeply committed to AI innovation, with strong executive sponsorship, a well-established governance framework, and a rapidly expanding portfolio of AI use cases.
  • • As our AI Product executive, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the trajectory of Lantern's platform and profoundly influence how AI enhances care delivery for our members and optimizes the operations of our internal teams.
  • • You will be a key driver in making AI the backbone of our platform, enabling us to scale effectively, revolutionize member experiences, and establish a distinct competitive advantage in the market.
  • • This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the future of healthcare technology and improve the lives of millions of members.

  • • Experience in healthcare, regulated industries, or environments with complex data governance is a strong plus.
  • • A growth mindset and grit: you’re excited by ambiguity, hands-on building, and scaling something that matters.
