- • As the VP of Technology at Atlasonc Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping and scaling our innovative technology platform, driving the company's long-term strategic vision. - • You will serve as a pivotal partner to our executive leadership and cross-functional teams, overseeing the day-to-day operational demands of Atlas’ technology stack. Your role will involve deeply understanding user needs to architect a comprehensive technology roadmap, ensuring our systems not only meet current demands but also position us for future growth and success.
- • A key aspect of this position is evangelizing the Atlas technology vision, both internally to stakeholders such as the board and sales team, and externally to high-profile clinical partners. You will be responsible for co-developing and articulating this vision, ensuring buy-in and effectively managing any technical concerns or issues that arise from our partners.
- • In the realm of Product Strategy & Analysis, you will conduct thorough analyses of customer needs and emerging technology trends within the oncology and value-based care sectors. This insight will directly inform the development of a long-term technology roadmap for Atlas, ensuring our technological investments are strategic and impactful.
- • You will leverage Atlas' core competencies and strategic objectives to make informed build versus buy decisions for our technology solutions, optimizing for efficiency, scalability, and competitive advantage.
- • A critical responsibility will be to thoroughly understand the landscape of technology vendors and partners relevant to our business, providing expert guidance to inform Atlas’ strategic sourcing and partnership decisions.
- • Staying ahead of the curve, you will continuously monitor trends in Artificial Intelligence (AI) that are pertinent to Atlas' business models, proactively identifying and evaluating opportunities to deploy AI as a strategic differentiator.
- • In Daily Technology Operations, you will manage and mentor the Director of IT and Information Security, empowering them in the ongoing evaluation, deployment, and maintenance of our technology infrastructure.
- • Recognizing the hands-on nature of a growing company, you will be prepared to function as an individual contributor when necessary, particularly within the data and data operations domains, ensuring critical tasks are completed efficiently.
- • You will be the primary point of contact for managing the flow of technology challenges and opportunities, including IT outages, vendor-related issues, security threats, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) downtime, working collaboratively with the Director of IT and Information Security to ensure business continuity and rapid resolution.
- • Your expertise in Data Strategy will be crucial. You will gain a deep understanding of the essential data feeds and inputs required to power an intelligent, value-based care operation, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- • You will be adept at coding and deploying data pipelines (ETL, ELT, etc.) as needed, ensuring seamless data integration and transformation.
- • In situations requiring it, you will step in as an interim database administrator, maintaining the health and performance of our data storage systems.
- • A significant long-term objective will be to architect a robust data warehouse and reporting infrastructure designed to support corporate outcome measures, facilitate continuous improvement, and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
- • As a Technology Evangelist, you will play a key role in co-developing and effectively communicating the long-term technology vision to internal stakeholders, including the board of directors, corporate leadership, and the sales team, fostering alignment and enthusiasm.
- • You will work collaboratively and smoothly with high-profile clinical partners, effectively selling the Atlas technology vision, addressing their technical needs, and managing any concerns or technical issues that may arise from these crucial relationships.
- • This role reports directly to the President, offering high visibility and direct impact on the company's strategic direction.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant technical or business field.
- • 5-10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare IT, data management, or product development, with a strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem.
- • Demonstrated basic competency as both a data engineer and data warehouse administrator, with a proven history of successful healthcare-related deployments.
- • Experience in developing product strategy, evaluating build versus buy scenarios, and conducting user needs research to inform technology roadmaps.
- • Prior expertise in managing and contracting with key technology vendors, including negotiation and relationship management.
- • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, capable of managing complex projects and multiple priorities simultaneously.
- • Proficiency in performing data analyses using tools like Excel, and summarizing findings into executive-friendly presentations and performance dashboards using PowerPoint.
- • A strong ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and translate strategic ideas into actionable plans.
- • A proactive, self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
