📋 Description

• As a Vulnerability Automation Engineer at Lumindigital LLC, you will design, build, and operate fully automated systems that eliminate manual vulnerability management by continuously discovering assets, assessing security posture, scanning for vulnerabilities, and auto-remediating findings across cloud-native and infrastructure-as-code environments.
• Your day-to-day work will involve creating end-to-end automation pipelines using AI-assisted tools like Claude Code, integrating vulnerability data sources, enforcing security baselines as code, and building self-service remediation tools that empower engineering teams to resolve security issues autonomously.
• You will join a forward-thinking team focused on replacing reactive security processes with proactive, engineered solutions—teaching organizations how to operate securely through automation rather than relying on manual coordination.
• In this role, you will gain deep expertise in AI-driven security automation, infrastructure-as-code, cloud-native security, and DevSecOps practices while contributing to cutting-edge systems that redefine how vulnerability management is performed at scale.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, DevSecOps, vulnerability management, or infrastructure automation with a focus on building automated systems
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Deep understanding of vulnerability frameworks (OWASP Top 10, CWE, CVE/CVSS, EPSS) and modern risk-based prioritization
• Experience with cloud security tooling (AWS Config, GuardDuty, Inspector, Security Hub) and container security
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot for building agentic workflows
