- • The Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift role is a fast-paced, goal-oriented position that requires the ability to work in a warehouse environment with a focus on receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- • The Associate II, Warehouse Ops assists on Inbound or Outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor, meeting quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards.
- • Responsibilities include following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to process orders, picking, performing quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building, and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment.
- • The role also involves cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse, participating in projects, utilizing Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check in and/or send out products, driving material handling equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- • The Associate II, Warehouse Ops is expected to apply acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks, learn and apply new information and methods, maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications, and adhere to all quality guidelines.
- • The role requires the ability to work under moderate degree of supervision, with regular review of output by work lead or supervisor, and to refer complex unusual problems to supervisor.
- • The Associate II, Warehouse Ops is expected to work within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods, and to maintain a high level of productivity and quality in their work.
- • The role also involves working independently or as a member of a team, following direction and changing priorities, and adhering to site safety regulations.
- • The Associate II, Warehouse Ops is expected to be willing to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.
- • The role requires the ability to follow direction, change priorities, and work independently or as a member of a team.
- • The Associate II, Warehouse Ops is expected to maintain a high level of productivity and quality in their work, and to adhere to all quality guidelines.
🎯 Requirements
- • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for entire shift.
- • Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
- • High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
- • Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred.
- • Radio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred.
- • Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
- • Ability to follow direction and change priorities while working independently or as a member of a team.
- • Aptitude to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while meeting hourly established performance standards.
- • Good verbal and written communication skills.
- • Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.
- • Adhere to site safety regulations including wearing required personal protective equipment such as steel-toed safety shoes, and material handling equipment safety harness.
