- • Assist with inbound and outbound warehouse operations including unloading trucks using pallet jacks or equivalent equipment to remove pallets from delivery vehicles.
- • Use the Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in received products and ensure accurate inventory recording.
- • Store products in designated warehouse locations using order pickers or other material handling devices, adhering to safety and organizational standards.
- • Pick customer orders from storage locations and load them into outbound trucks for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- • Follow regulatory guidelines for handling and storing specialty products, including refrigerated items, to maintain product integrity and compliance.
- • Perform manual material handling tasks requiring frequent bending, reaching, stooping, standing for the entire shift, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- • Work regularly at heights of 20–30 feet, utilizing equipment such as lifts or elevated platforms as needed.
- • Operate within clearly defined standard operating procedures and quality guidelines to maintain operational efficiency and safety compliance.
- • Apply acquired knowledge to complete routine tasks and learn new methods or systems as directed by supervisors.
- • Work under moderate supervision with regular review of output by work leads or supervisors.
- • Refer complex or unusual problems to supervisors for resolution while maintaining productivity and adherence to protocols.
- • Maintain required licenses, training, and certifications relevant to warehouse operations and equipment usage.
- • Work scheduled shifts on Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (or until work is complete).
- • Contribute to the efficient flow of products from vendor receipt to customer shipment, supporting Cardinal Health’s distribution and fulfillment goals.
- • Adhere to all safety, quality, and productivity standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- • Participate in a work schedule that requires consistent attendance and punctuality across four non-consecutive days per week.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1–2 years of warehouse or related experience, preferred
- • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and stoop for the entire shift
- • Comfort working at heights of 20–30 feet regularly
- • Ability to operate warehouse management systems and material handling equipment
