- • The Warehouse Associate - Inbound role at Cardinal Health is essential to ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and preparation of medical and healthcare products for distribution, directly supporting patient care by maintaining the integrity and availability of critical supplies in a climate-controlled, high-volume distribution center.
- • This position plays a vital role in the inbound logistics process, where accurate and timely handling of incoming shipments prevents delays in the supply chain and ensures that hospitals, pharmacies, and healthcare providers receive the products they need when they need them.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include unloading trucks using pallet jacks or equivalent equipment to safely remove pallets from inbound shipments.
- • Associates will use the Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) to accurately check in received products, verifying quantities and conditions against purchase orders while adhering to storage protocols, especially for temperature-sensitive or specialty items.
- • Products are then stored in designated warehouse locations using order pickers or other material handling equipment, ensuring proper slotting and inventory accuracy for efficient retrieval.
- • When supporting outbound operations as needed, associates will pick products from warehouse locations and load them onto outbound trucks, contributing to timely order fulfillment.
- • The role requires consistent adherence to safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques, equipment operation, and awareness of surroundings in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- • Associates are expected to maintain productivity and quality standards while working under moderate supervision, with regular performance feedback from leads or supervisors.

🎯 Requirements
- • 1-2 years of prior warehouse, distribution, or materials handling experience is preferred
- • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is preferred
- • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, stooping, and standing for extended periods
- • Comfort working at heights of 20-30 feet regularly using order pickers or similar equipment
- • Basic proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) or willingness to learn Manhattan WMS
- • Strong adherence to safety, quality, and standard operating procedures in a fast-paced environment
