📋 Description
- • Oversee daily operations of the HOP (rapid grocery delivery) warehouse in Wandsworth (SW18), ensuring orders are picked, packed, and dispatched on time to meet strict customer delivery targets.
- • Lead the dispatch area to maintain seamless packing processes and uphold operational efficiency during high-volume periods.
- • Manage inventory accuracy by unloading deliveries according to procedure, verifying product locations, enforcing date rotation protocols, and logging claims accurately.
- • Conduct regular health and safety checks, promptly addressing hazards to ensure the warehouse remains clean, tidy, and compliant with safety standards at all times.
- • Maintain 100% stock integrity across designated counting areas through accurate and consistent stock counts.
- • Collaborate closely with the Warehouse Assistant Manager and Warehouse Manager to ensure site-wide alignment with company procedures and operational goals.
- • Motivate and coach junior warehouse staff through a "lead by example" approach, fostering a positive, high-energy team environment.
- • Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to improve site performance, including pick times, dispatch speed, and workflow efficiency.
- • Work within a shift-based schedule of 30 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, to support 24/7 warehouse operations.
- • Ensure adherence to all operational protocols related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and workplace safety.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting practical solutions to enhance productivity and reduce errors in daily workflows.
- • Serve as the primary point of operational accountability on-site, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate delivery of household essentials.
- • Participate in the full interview process, including an online AI assessment and an onsite interview with a Site Manager.

- • Proven experience working in fast-paced environments such as FMCG, retail, warehouse, or last-mile delivery
- • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed operational KPIs, including pick times and dispatch targets
- • Natural leadership skills with a track record of motivating and coaching junior team members
- • Strong problem-solving mindset with initiative to improve site operations
- • Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a high-energy team environment
- • Willingness to work shift-based hours, including evenings and weekends
