📋 Description

• As a Warehouse Supervisor at Deliveroo’s Kentish Town HOP site, you will be the operational cornerstone ensuring rapid grocery orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, directly impacting customer satisfaction and the reliability of Deliveroo’s ultra-fast delivery promise.
• You will drive dispatch excellence by overseeing order picking to meet strict time targets, leading the dispatch team to ensure seamless packing and timely handover to riders, maintaining the speed and precision essential to the HOP service.
• You will manage inventory rigour by supervising the unloading of deliveries, verifying product placement, enforcing date rotation (FIFO), and logging any discrepancies or damages to maintain 100% stock integrity across all counting zones.
• You will maintain operational standards by ensuring the warehouse is consistently clean, organised, and hazard-free, conducting regular health and safety checks, and immediately addressing risks such as spills, obstructions, or equipment issues to uphold a safe working environment.
• You will provide collaborative leadership by working closely with the Warehouse Assistant Manager and Site Manager to align on priorities, support team adherence to procedures, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• You will own stock integrity by leading or participating in regular stock counts, investigating variances, and ensuring all inventory data is accurate and up to date to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• You will join a mission-driven Site Operations team that powers Deliveroo’s rapid grocery and delivery-only kitchen networks, combining retail precision with hospitality agility to serve London’s communities with speed and reliability.
• You will be part of a tight-knit, high-energy team where hands-on problem solving, ownership, and resilience are valued, and where your contributions are visible in real time through faster dispatches and happier customers.
• You will develop leadership and operational expertise in a fast-paced, scale-driven environment, gaining experience in inventory management, team coordination, and process optimisation — with clear pathways for progression into senior supervisory or managerial roles within Deliveroo’s expanding Operations network.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience working effectively in fast-paced operational environments such as FMCG, retail, warehouse, or last-mile delivery, with a strong understanding of stock handling and dispatch workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance targets, including pick rates, dispatch times, or inventory accuracy KPIs, showing a results-driven mindset.
• Natural leadership qualities with a ‘lead by example’ approach, including experience coaching, motivating, or guiding junior team members in operational settings.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive attitude toward identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical improvements to site processes.
• High adaptability and resilience, capable of working autonomously while contributing positively to a dynamic, shift-based team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly in inventory management, stock rotation, and health and safety compliance.
