đź“‹ Description
- • As a Wealth Advisor at NerdWallet Wealth Partners (NWWP), you will be at the forefront of our mission to redefine wealth management through a high-touch, human-to-human service model. You will be instrumental in developing and nurturing long-term client relationships, providing personalized financial planning, and delivering research-driven investment strategies. NWWP is a rapidly growing Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) founded by experienced professionals dedicated to offering an elevated and relatable advisory experience built on unwavering trust, fiduciary excellence, and a commitment to long-term client partnerships.
- • The core purpose of this role is to serve as the end-to-end owner of client relationships. You will be responsible for guiding clients from their initial engagement through ongoing advice and meticulous portfolio oversight. Acting as a trusted fiduciary, you will provide highly personalized, research-driven guidance that is meticulously aligned with each client’s unique long-term financial goals. Your success in this role will directly contribute to the firm’s growth through effective client conversion, exceptional retention rates, and the strategic insights you provide.
- • Within the Advisory team, you will be the primary client relationship owner, focusing deeply on providing comprehensive advice and exceptional client service, rather than on prospecting. Leveraging our tech-forward infrastructure and the support of a collaborative team, you will be empowered to dedicate your energy to what matters most: delivering highly personalized advice and cultivating enduring client relationships. This involves mastering comprehensive financial planning, executing investment strategies, and engaging clients proactively.
- • Beyond client-facing responsibilities, you will actively contribute to fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment. This includes participating in team discussions, providing constructive feedback, and engaging in professional development opportunities. You will also be a vital source of frontline insights, helping to refine our sales effectiveness, enhance the client experience, and drive overall firm growth, all while upholding the highest fiduciary standards.
- • A key function of your role will involve developing and closing new client relationships. You will excel at identifying prospect needs and articulating NWWP’s distinct investment philosophy, client experience, and unique value proposition across various communication channels. Your ability to convert warm inbound leads into long-term advisory relationships, aligned with defined growth objectives, will be crucial. You will also manage referrals from existing clients, contributing to defined growth metrics, and provide valuable frontline insights to our sales and marketing teams to optimize prospective client outreach.
- • In wealth planning, coaching, and relationship management, you will be adept at identifying individual client planning needs across investment, tax, estate, insurance, and related financial areas. You will develop and implement comprehensive financial plans tailored to each client’s specific circumstances, utilizing the firm’s advanced planning tools. Monitoring and rebalancing client portfolios in accordance with NWWP’s investment philosophy, individual client plans, and prevailing market conditions will be a regular responsibility.
- • You will serve as a trusted advisor and coach, diligently tracking client goals, recording progress, and ensuring consistent follow-through on all planning initiatives. Maintaining regular client engagement through quarterly touchpoints, annual reviews, and proactive outreach in response to market shifts or client-specific developments is essential. You will provide expert coaching on ad hoc financial matters, including property purchases, education funding, estate concerns, insurance strategies, and equity incentive advice (RSUs/ISOs), among others. Furthermore, you will collaborate seamlessly with clients’ accountants, estate attorneys, and other centers of influence (COIs) to ensure a fully integrated and holistic advisory experience.
- • Operational excellence is paramount. You will maintain accurate and timely documentation of all prospect and client interactions within our CRM systems. Upholding all regulatory, compliance, and licensure requirements is non-negotiable. You will actively share frontline insights to drive improvements in sales, marketing, and client experience processes. Partnering effectively with team members, contributing to process enhancements, and participating in feedback and development conversations will foster a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- • This role requires a proactive approach to client engagement, a deep understanding of financial planning principles, and a commitment to fiduciary responsibility. You will be empowered to make a significant impact on client financial well-being and contribute directly to the growth and success of NerdWallet Wealth Partners.
