- • As a Web Scraping Engineer at Oxylabs, you will play a critical role in maintaining and advancing one of the world’s largest and most sophisticated web data scraping infrastructures, supporting Fortune 500 companies and global industry leaders in e-commerce, market intelligence, and AI.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include solving complex technical challenges related to scraping and parsing at scale, maintaining and optimizing systems handling 60PB+ monthly data traffic, processing 300k+ service requests per second, and managing 500k+ Kafka messages per second streamed through our Ceph storage and distributed systems.
- • You will join a diverse, global team of 500+ professionals in Vilnius, where collaboration and knowledge sharing are central — you’ll learn from experts in various domains and receive mentorship on building robust scrapers, leveraging internal tips, tricks, and hacks to accelerate your onboarding and impact.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in large-scale data systems, gain hands-on experience with high-throughput streaming architectures, and contribute to cutting-edge scraping technologies used by industry leaders — positioning yourself at the forefront of web data innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong proficiency in Python for developing and maintaining scraping and parsing solutions
- • Experience with large-scale data systems, including handling high-volume traffic (e.g., PB-scale data, high QPS/Kafka throughput)
- • Familiarity with distributed systems, Ceph storage, Kafka streaming, and scalable infrastructure
- • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges in high-performance environments
- • Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from a diverse, expert team
