  • • In this pivotal role, you will assume end-to-end ownership of the FlockSafety.com website, which serves as the primary engine for marketing initiatives, a vital resource for our sales teams, and the principal driver of lead generation for hundreds of thousands of monthly visitors. Your core responsibilities will revolve around Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), the strategic management of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and the continuous enhancement of the overall site experience. You will be instrumental in building and scaling our A/B testing program, leveraging tools like VWO to drive data-informed improvements. Furthermore, you will manage our SEO program in close collaboration with our agency partners, ensuring Flock Safety maintains and improves its organic search visibility. A key aspect of this role will be developing and executing our emerging AEO strategy, crucial for ensuring discoverability within the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-powered search engines.
  • • You will collaborate closely with the Brand and Creative teams on website page builds and project management, enabling you to dedicate your expertise to the high-impact strategic and technical work that directly contributes to pipeline growth. This role requires a proactive, independent self-starter with a proven ability to take ownership of projects from conception to completion. Your deep understanding of CRO methodologies, including hypothesis development, test design, statistical significance analysis, and iterative improvement, will be essential for success. You will also possess a strong command of technical SEO principles and have experience managing external agency relationships effectively. Familiarity with AEO concepts and the nuances of AI-driven search optimization is highly desirable, positioning you to lead Flock Safety's strategy in this cutting-edge area.
  • • Proficiency in essential analytics and tag management tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Google Search Console (GSC) is a prerequisite. Experience with a suite of marketing technology (martech) tools, including Qualified (for chatbots), VWO, 6sense, and various personalization platforms, will be highly advantageous. You will demonstrate a strong command of website content management and strategy, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of current web best practices and emerging technologies. The ability to effectively manage agency partners and navigate cross-functional internal stakeholder relationships is critical. A foundational understanding of HTML/CSS will be beneficial for website customization tasks. Your organizational skills must be exceptional, allowing you to consistently prioritize high-impact strategic work over reactive requests, ensuring efficient and effective progress towards key objectives.
  • • Your first 90 days will be structured to ensure a rapid and comprehensive integration into the team and the role. Within the first 30 days, you will gain a thorough understanding of the website's current state, complete foundational audits, and formally assume ownership of the web experience. This involves conducting an in-depth review of the website's structure, content, tech stack, and SEO performance, meeting with key stakeholders to identify pain points, and consolidating findings. You will also take ownership of the website and SEO program in partnership with stakeholders and agency partners, and begin developing an initial web experience strategy for improvements.
  • • By the end of 60 days, you will be actively executing your strategy and launching your first optimization tests. This includes setting up and implementing the A/B testing platform, launching initial experiments on high-impact pages, and executing technical SEO and site engagement improvements. You will also commence assessing Flock Safety's visibility across emerging AI-powered search platforms. Upon reaching 90 days and beyond, you will have a fully operational CRO program, a clearly defined optimization roadmap, and will be demonstrably driving measurable impact. This involves maintaining a continuous pipeline of A/B test experiments, developing and implementing a comprehensive reporting dashboard to track KPIs, trends, and insights, and holding regular review meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress, roadmap, and future steps.
