- • Wheelchair Driver role at Modivcare Inc. involves transporting passengers to medical facilities and homes within a defined mileage radius from the operations center in Lincoln County, ME, ensuring safe, timely, and professional service.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include operating vehicles safely while following traffic laws, transporting passengers, familiarizing with routes using maps or GPS, conducting vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, completing trip sheets, maintaining documentation, providing excellent customer service, handling basic issues, adhering to company policies and regulatory standards, attending security trainings, and performing assigned duties.
- • Modivcare is a service-oriented company focused on non-emergency medical transportation, committed to making a difference in people’s lives through reliable and compassionate service, with part-time and full-time opportunities available Monday through Saturday from 4:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST.
- • The role offers opportunities to develop strong customer service, defensive driving, route navigation, time management, and vehicle maintenance skills while contributing to passenger safety and well-being in a structured, policy-driven environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- • Valid driver’s license for the appropriate vehicle type
- • Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations or accidents
- • In-depth knowledge of local area for safe and efficient route navigation
- • Excellent driving skills and ability to handle various road and weather conditions
- • Customer-service oriented with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
