📋 Description
- • As a Working Student Project Engineer in Engineering (m/f/d) – Intralogistics / AutoStore at Kardex Holding AG, you will support the technical planning and execution of AutoStore projects, contributing to the development of high-speed Automatic Storage and Retrieval Systems that boost storage capacity by up to four times and enhance order fulfillment efficiency for businesses worldwide.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the creation of technical drawings using AutoCAD, pCon, or Revit; assisting in the preparation of offer documents and specifications; supporting integration and detail engineering of special equipment; helping with inquiries, offer comparisons, and CE-related safety tasks such as risk assessments and conformity checks; and contributing to process optimization, template development, and overall project approach improvements.
- • You will work within a global leader in intralogistics solutions, collaborating with installers, suppliers, customers, and internal departments including Project and Sales Managers, gaining exposure to cross-functional technical and safety-related aspects of large-scale automation projects.
- • This role offers the opportunity to apply and expand your technical studies in mechanical engineering or a related field, develop practical CAD and project engineering skills, deepen your understanding of automation, logistics, and IT processes, and build a foundation for a future career in intralogistics or industrial engineering within an innovative, international company.
🎯 Requirements
- • Ongoing technical studies in mechanical engineering or a similar field
- • Excellent German and English language skills
- • Analytical thinking and basic drawing skills (CAD)
- • First practical experience (e.g. internships) in engineering, project environment or intralogistics is a plus
- • Basic understanding of engineering, automation and interest in logistics and IT processes
