📋 Description

  • As a Workday Data Manager Senior Manager at Collaborative, you will be at the forefront of transforming how organizations manage their most critical data assets within the Workday ecosystem. This pivotal role demands a unique blend of deep Workday expertise, strategic data thinking, and hands-on execution, empowering you to guide clients through complex data migration, harmonization, governance, and long-term data capability initiatives. You will serve as a trusted advisor, leading clients from the initial implementation phases through to ongoing post-production support, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and strategic alignment of their HR and Finance data.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to become a Workday data virtuoso, cultivating profound knowledge in data migration strategies, data harmonization techniques, robust data governance frameworks, and efficient ongoing data operations across both Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financials modules. This expertise will enable you to lead clients confidently through the entire data lifecycle, encompassing meticulous extraction, precise transformation, thorough cleansing, rigorous validation, and seamless cutover processes.
  • You will be instrumental in designing and governing enterprise-level data strategies. This includes establishing comprehensive quality frameworks, defining clear data standards, meticulously documenting data lineage, implementing effective ownership models, and embedding robust controls to ensure data integrity and compliance. Your strategic vision will shape how data is managed and leveraged across the organization.
  • A key aspect of your role will involve overseeing critical data mapping, conversion, and loading activities. You will leverage your proficiency with Workday's powerful data tools, including iLoad, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Object Transporter, Advanced Load, and Migration Recipes, to ensure accurate and efficient data integration.
  • You will actively guide clients through the often-challenging process of data cleansing and preparation. By ensuring accuracy and consistency across diverse HR and Finance data sets, you will lay the foundation for reliable reporting and decision-making.
  • Leading the development of data quality metrics, insightful dashboards, and comprehensive reporting tools will be essential for supporting ongoing monitoring and governance. This proactive approach will enable early detection and resolution of data issues, maintaining high data standards.
  • Your role will extend to supporting crucial data-related elements within Workday configuration, business processes, security settings, and cross-domain dependencies. This holistic view ensures that data management is seamlessly integrated with the broader Workday solution.
  • You will drive critical harmonization initiatives, working across multiple legacy systems and diverse business units to create unified data structures and consistent definitions. This effort is vital for breaking down data silos and enabling a single source of truth.
  • A significant part of your contribution will be validating loaded data across multiple cycles and coordinating the resolution of any identified issues through meticulous testing and reconciliation processes. Your attention to detail will be paramount in ensuring data accuracy.
  • You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, offering insightful analysis, strategic recommendations, and clear decision-making frameworks for even the most complex data scenarios. Your ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience will be key.
  • You will lead data workstreams within Workday projects and Application Management Services (AMS) engagements, consistently ensuring delivery excellence and driving high levels of client satisfaction. Your leadership will be crucial for project success.
  • Mentoring junior consultants and actively contributing to the development of data capability across the wider Workday practice will be a core part of your role, fostering a culture of continuous learning and expertise.
  • You will also support pre-sales activities, including solutioning complex data challenges, developing accurate estimates, and contributing to compelling proposal creation, showcasing your expertise to potential clients.
  • This role requires the ability to perform multiple tasks effectively under limited direction, while diligently keeping project leadership and client stakeholders informed of progress, potential risks, and mitigation strategies.

🎯 Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of significant experience in Workday data migration, data quality, data harmonization, or data governance, ideally spanning both HCM and Financials domains.

  • Hands-on proficiency with key Workday data tools, including iLoads, EIB, Object Transporter, Advanced Load, and Migration Recipes.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders effectively.
