- • As a Workday Extend Developer at Fortrea Holdings Inc., you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying custom applications and integrations within the Workday platform to enhance HR and business operations, directly supporting the company’s mission to deliver innovative clinical research solutions through optimized technology infrastructure.
- • You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and build scalable, secure, and compliant solutions using Workday Extend, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and alignment with organizational goals.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and developing custom Workday Extend applications, creating and maintaining reports and dashboards, developing data integrations, troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical support to team members and end-users, and participating in bi-weekly sprints and annual planning activities (R1/R2 releases) to support system enhancements and upgrades.
- • You will ensure all development activities adhere to Workday best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements, while staying current with emerging Workday Extend features and trends to continuously improve development processes and solution quality.
- • You will work within a dynamic, remote-first environment at Fortrea, a global leader in clinical research services, where your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of HR and operational systems supporting life-saving research initiatives across multiple therapeutic areas.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
- • Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Workday Integration Analyst or similar role with hands-on Workday Extend development
- • Workday Pro Certification in Integrations or other relevant modules preferred
- • Strong understanding of integration design patterns, middleware platforms, and ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions within Workday
- • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels, detail-oriented mindset, and commitment to delivering high-quality work on schedule
