- • Articulate business problems in the finance domain and develop actionable recommendations to influence stakeholders and deliver results.
- • Work directly with clients to understand their financial processes and design Workday solutions aligned with their business goals.
- • Obtain and maintain Workday platform certification to guide client financial teams on best practices and optimal system configuration.
- • Configure Workday systems using technical and functional expertise to meet client requirements and support finance operations.
- • Collaborate with global teams across geographies, adapting communication styles to effectively engage diverse stakeholders.
- • Execute unit test cases to validate configuration changes and ensure system accuracy against functional requirements.
- • Debug and resolve issues identified during testing phases to maintain system integrity and client satisfaction.
- • Document all configuration changes precisely to ensure clarity, auditability, and long-term usability for clients.
- • Adhere strictly to project and support processes defined by the project manager, ensuring compliance and consistency.
- • Communicate regularly with project managers on configuration updates, schedule changes, and project status to maintain alignment.
- • Review and provide feedback on deliverables from peers to uphold quality standards across the team.
- • Assist clients in building internal capabilities to independently manage and maintain their Workday financial solutions.
- • Manage assigned scope of work, proactively identify project risks and issues, and plan workload to meet deadlines.
- • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility, including willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet project demands.
- • Continuously learn and apply knowledge of new finance domains and Workday modules as business needs evolve.
- • Understand and apply the software development lifecycle in the context of Workday implementation projects.
- • Maintain a client-first mindset by anticipating needs, owning outcomes, and ensuring solutions deliver measurable impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of relevant work experience in finance or related field
- • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred
- • Certified in Workday platform preferred
- • Working knowledge of Workday Financials
- • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- • Ability to adapt to new domains and learn quickly to meet business needs
