• • As a Workday Reporting and Integration Analyst at Trellix, you will be instrumental in shaping how our organization leverages its critical HR and Finance data. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of data flows, from initial concept and design through to development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our Workday system seamlessly integrates with other essential business applications, providing accurate, timely, and actionable insights that drive informed decision-making across the company.
• • Your primary focus will be on designing, building, and maintaining robust data flows between Workday and various other systems. This involves utilizing a suite of powerful tools, including Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and various Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The goal is to meet complex business needs, ensuring the integrity of reporting and the efficiency of daily operations.
• • You will act as a key liaison, collaborating closely with stakeholders from IT, Human Resources, and Finance departments. Your ability to translate intricate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications will be crucial. This collaboration ensures that the technical solutions developed precisely align with the strategic objectives and operational demands of the business.
• • A significant part of your role will involve the development of sophisticated Workday reports. This includes creating custom reports that go beyond standard offerings, providing deep dives into HR and Finance data. You will be adept at identifying reporting gaps and proactively developing solutions to fill them, empowering business users with the data they need.
• • Troubleshooting and issue resolution will be a core responsibility. You will investigate and resolve errors within data flows and reporting, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes. This requires a keen analytical mind and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
• • Data security and compliance are paramount. You will ensure that all data integrations and reporting adhere to Trellix's stringent security policies and relevant data privacy regulations, safeguarding sensitive employee and financial information.
• • Documentation is key to knowledge sharing and system maintainability. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, integration guides, and troubleshooting manuals. This ensures that the systems and processes are well-understood and easily managed by the team.
• • You will play a vital role in the testing phases of new features, upgrades, and system enhancements. This includes supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), working closely with business users to validate that the developed solutions meet their requirements and function as expected.
• • Beyond Workday integrations, you will also provide support for the MS SQL Server HR database and the DocuSign Application as needed, contributing to the broader HR technology ecosystem.
• • You will be expected to clarify business requirements, map them to Workday's system capabilities, and recommend optimal technical solutions. This involves understanding the 'why' behind a request and proposing the most effective 'how'.
• • You will translate client requirements into technical terms for the development team, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
• • Advising clients on resource requirements, scope, budgets, and timing for integration and reporting projects will be part of your responsibilities, contributing to project planning and success.
• • Developing use cases, customer scenarios, and/or demonstrations will help in visualizing and validating solutions before full development.
• • Planning and coordinating testing of newly developed or enhanced applications between business and development teams is essential for successful deployment.
• • You will also be tasked with documenting changes and creating troubleshooting guides to support ongoing system management and user assistance.
