  • • As a pivotal member of Guidehouse's rapidly expanding Workday Practice, you will be instrumental in shaping the success of our advisory professionals. This role is designed for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering more than just technology solutions. You will play a leading role in the entire lifecycle of proposal development, from initial response to final presentation, ensuring our Workday solutions are effectively communicated to equip organizations with the insights needed for superior business decision-making.
  • • In this capacity as the Workday Pursuit Manager, you will be the central point of contact and coordinator for all proposal activities. Your expertise will be crucial in integrating winning strategies and key decision-making elements into our proposals. Furthermore, you will be empowered to create and refine proposal processes and systems, leveraging your subject matter knowledge to optimize workload management, enhance content libraries, ensure quality, and streamline proposal development and formatting.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of critical functions, including but not limited to:
  • • Collaborating closely with the business development team to gain a comprehensive understanding of business plans and strategic objectives.
  • • Actively participating in strategy sessions to formulate winning strategies and themes, conduct thorough competitor assessments, and identify critical client needs and key selling points.
  • • Performing in-depth analyses of requirement documents such as Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and Statements of Work (SOW), and clearly communicating the findings.
  • • Meticulously managing proposal development documentation, including outlines, team assignments, proposal management plans, schedules, kick-off meeting materials, and writing plans.
  • • Establishing and maintaining seamless communication channels among local and remote employees and teammates through various collaborative tools, phone calls, and email.
  • • Generating compelling content and providing clear direction to the team for the writing of assigned proposal sections.
  • • Offering expert direction and coordination for all content within proposals, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • • Conducting rigorous reviews of both text and graphics, verifying that all written sections adhere to RFP requirements and effectively incorporate win strategies and themes.
  • • Taking ownership of all proposal sections, holding ultimate accountability for the final proposal documents.
  • • Providing comprehensive orientation and training to new proposal team members, covering the proposal development process, procedures, and writing strategies.
  • • Liaising with pricing staff to ensure all necessary information for the Cost Proposal is available and that input is received punctually.
  • • Coordinating and securing necessary Partner sign-offs.
  • • Participating in win/loss debriefings and contributing to the development of actionable lessons learned.
  • • Ensuring all project-relevant documentation is systematically retained for efficient handover to the project manager upon a successful bid.
  • • Maintaining and updating the proposal content library and boilerplate materials.
  • • Demonstrating flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required to meet critical proposal deadlines.
