  • • As a Senior Workday HRIS Specialist at Aderant Holdings, Inc., you will step into a pivotal role, serving as a strategic and technical leader within our dynamic HRIS team. This position is meticulously crafted for a seasoned Workday professional who possesses deep functional and technical expertise, enabling them to independently manage and optimize the entire Workday ecosystem, including configuration, integrations, and governance.
  • • You will be the go-to subject matter expert for core Workday modules, ensuring that the system is architected, configured, and maintained in a manner that is not only scalable and compliant but also strategically aligned with business objectives. This role demands a robust understanding of end-to-end system processes, the ability to effectively influence a diverse range of cross-functional stakeholders, and the unwavering discipline to uphold system integrity through rigorous governance and testing practices.
  • • This is a unique opportunity to shape our system strategy, spearhead complex initiatives, and continuously enhance the maturity and effectiveness of our HR technology landscape, driving innovation and operational excellence.
  • • Your primary responsibilities will encompass Workday Administration and Configuration, where you will act as a subject matter expert across critical modules such as HCM, Absence, Compensation, Security, Integrations, and Payroll. You will be instrumental in architecting and configuring intricate business processes, robust security frameworks, and cross-module functionalities, always with a keen awareness of upstream and downstream system impacts.
  • • You will design scalable solutions that adhere to established governance standards and contribute to our long-term system strategy. A significant part of your role will involve overseeing and executing configuration changes through structured change management processes, comprehensive documentation, and rigorous testing in both Sandbox and Production environments, ensuring seamless integration and stakeholder alignment.
  • • In terms of Workday Releases and Adoption, you will lead the bi-annual Workday releases, meticulously reviewing release notes, developing adoption plans, conducting thorough testing, updating documentation, and rolling out selected new features. You will also proactively track and assess upcoming Workday enhancements for future implementation, supporting configuration, testing, demonstrations, communications, and knowledge sharing related to new functionalities.
  • • For Reporting, Data, and Integrations, you will design and maintain advanced custom reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and data models. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, the HRIS team, and Data Analytics teams to guarantee reporting accuracy, data integrity, and the delivery of executive-level insights. This includes conducting data audits, reconciliations, and root cause analysis for any discrepancies. You will also build, test, and load EIBs, and provide essential support for data audits, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
  • • Your role will also involve Documentation, Training, and Enablement, where you will own and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, annual processes, and system enhancements. Furthermore, you will develop essential knowledge articles, training materials, and concise video demonstrations to empower HR partners and end-users, fostering greater system understanding and adoption.
  • • Collaboration and Team Support are paramount. You will work closely with HR, IT, and business partners, strictly adhering to governance and escalation paths. Clear and proactive communication will be key, seeking clarification when necessary and actively contributing to team priorities, including reducing backlog and supporting organizational workflows.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess strong executive-level written and verbal communication skills, a highly analytical and systems-thinking capability, and a strategic, solutions-oriented mindset with sound judgment. You must be able to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across HR, IT, Payroll, and Finance, demonstrating a detail-oriented approach with disciplined adherence to governance and controls, and a proactive ownership mentality that allows for independent operation.
