This role supports the company’s mission to enable possibility by maintaining a scalable, reliable HR technology foundation that empowers employees, managers, and HR partners to operate efficiently and make data-informed decisions.
- • Reporting to a Senior Workday Analyst, this position offers a clear path for professional growth, allowing the incumbent to deepen technical Workday expertise, strengthen HR systems knowledge, and evolve into greater responsibility over time through hands-on involvement in configuration, testing, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- • The People Operations team at Arch Investments Group Ltd operates with a consultative, collaborative approach, partnering closely with HR, finance, and business leaders to align Workday functionality with organizational needs. The team is committed to innovation, process excellence, and delivering seamless employee experiences through technology.
- • The role is open to remote work, with a preference for candidates located within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC; White Plains, NY; or Jersey City, NJ, offering flexibility while maintaining opportunities for occasional in-person collaboration and team cohesion.
- • What the person will do day to day:
- • Support day-to-day Workday HCM requests by troubleshooting configuration issues, resolving business process errors, and providing timely, accurate responses to end-user inquiries from HR partners, managers, and employees.
- • Assist in the testing, documentation, and deployment of Workday changes, including configuration updates, business process modifications, and release-related enhancements, ensuring all changes are validated for impact and compliance before production rollout.
- • Help maintain data integrity across core HR modules (such as Employee Central, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence) by conducting regular audits, identifying discrepancies, performing root-cause analysis, and coordinating resolution with data owners and HR operations.
- • Create and maintain comprehensive job aids, quick-reference guides, FAQs, and training materials for HR analysts and end-users, ensuring documentation is clear, up-to-date, and aligned with current Workday configurations and business processes.
- • Support the planning and delivery of training sessions for HR Analysts and super-users on new Workday features, process updates, and system changes, including facilitating hands-on workshops and creating slide decks or video tutorials as needed.
- • Stay current on quarterly Workday releases, review release notes, assess potential impacts on existing configurations and integrations, and communicate findings and recommendations to the People Operations team and stakeholders.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (including Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and HRIS) to gather requirements, validate process flows, and ensure Workday configurations support end-to-end HR operations effectively.
- • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in current Workday usage, proposing configuration or process enhancements, and contributing to the evolution of the HCM platform as a strategic HR enabler.
- • About the team or company:
- • Arch Investments Group Ltd fosters a culture rooted in collaboration, expertise, and innovation, where employees are empowered to drive progress and enable possibility for clients, colleagues, and communities through purposeful work and technological excellence.
- • The company began its Workday journey in 2020 and is actively building a scalable, integrated HCM solution as part of a broader digital transformation strategy, making this role pivotal to the ongoing success and evolution of its people technology infrastructure.
- • What the person can learn or achieve in this role:
- • Develop advanced proficiency in Workday HCM administration, including deep expertise in configuration, business processes, security roles, and reporting across core modules such as Talent, Payroll, Time, and Absence Management.
- • Gain valuable experience in HR systems lifecycle management — from requirements gathering and testing to deployment, user support, and optimization — positioning the individual for advancement into senior Workday analyst, HRIS manager, or HR technology leadership roles.
