  • • As a Working Student in CRM Marketing at Statista GmbH, you will play a vital role in supporting data-driven customer engagement initiatives that directly contribute to maximizing customer lifetime value and enhancing user experience across global markets. Your work will help ensure that Statista’s communications are timely, relevant, and personalized, reinforcing the company’s mission to empower fact-based decision-making through reliable data.
  • • You will assist in the end-to-end execution of multichannel CRM campaigns, including email and on-platform communications, by supporting setup, testing, quality assurance, and launch processes. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on schedule, while maintaining high standards of data integrity and user experience.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building and managing customer segments, audience lists, and campaign catalogues using CRM tools, ensuring precise targeting based on user behavior and engagement patterns. You will also help prepare performance data and support the creation of detailed campaign reports, enabling the team to measure effectiveness and optimize future initiatives.
  • • You will actively contribute to quality assurance and testing of campaigns prior to launch, identifying and helping resolve issues related to content, formatting, segmentation, or delivery to ensure a seamless customer experience. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining and updating the campaign calendar, coordinating timelines and readiness across the team to support smooth workflow and alignment with broader marketing goals.
  • • The CRM Marketing team at Statista is a collaborative, innovative, and data-focused unit dedicated to designing and optimizing the full customer journey — from onboarding and engagement to retention, upsell, and winback. Leveraging intelligent automation, A/B testing, and close partnerships with product, sales, and analytics teams, the team ensures that every customer touchpoint delivers relevant, value-driven communication.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Ongoing studies in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration with a focus on Marketing, or a comparable field, ideally from the 3rd semester onwards
  • • First practical experience in marketing or CRM is desirable
  • • Analytical mindset and interest in data-driven marketing
  • • Structured and meticulous working style with attention to detail
  • • Team player mentality and proactive hands-on attitude
  • • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
  • • Availability of approximately 20 hours per week
